JMT is my first purely striking martial arts gym. I never realized that I had landed in a truly special place until I traveled out of town for business and tried classes at other gyms.

The classes, coaches and quality of instruction, the facilities, even the gym hours are way better than what I experienced elsewhere.

This place has given me a focus for physical fitness. I’m down quite a few pounds since joining and have some goals in mind. Everyone here is cool. There is no judgment and the more experienced guys are willing to help. I’ve been training here with my son 2-3 times a week for a year now.

I came across JMT a few months back and it’s practically become my second home. The community is just amazing as well as the coaches and owner ( Mike ) . From the moment you walk in, everyone is very welcoming and friendly. It’s almost impossible to feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable. I absolutely love coming in and training, JMT has truly changed my life in many ways, giving me confidence, an amazing workout, a new set of friends, as well as even getting me to stop smoking and focus on training. Top notch gym. Head coach Mike is a phenomenal teacher. He explains it well, he’s really skilled, he’s looking out for everyone. Nice group of people as well at this gym. I had so much fun studying here. They have daytime classes which I love. All the coaches are diamond geezers. They have a very well thought out program of tests you can complete before entering the sparring program, it makes sense. I like this system as it clearly shows you a direct path to improve if you want to. The vibe in this place is kind of ⚡️. I studied with Damien Alamos there! JMT is the best place for anyone looking for a Muay Thai gym (whether you’re a complete beginner or advanced). I had moved to the area and never stepped foot in a Muay Thai gym before and everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming. Zach is the man and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Not to mention, he’s very experienced and I had trained with him for about 10 months. Went from absolute beginner to feeling very confident in my skills. Do the intro session, you won’t regret it!

I've been going to Jax Muay Thai for 2 years now. What I can say from a complete beginner is that upon first stepping foot in JMT, I felt the overwhelming essence of tranquility and sacredness that the gym works hard to maintain.
JMT is a community that consists of many coaches and mentors, each with their own unique personality and technique. And each one of them has greatly contributed to my development as a martial artist.
