We ate here today and I have to say it was an excellent experience. When we walked in the first thing we heard was Jackie talking to everyone. You could immediately see her smile and how happy she was.

Jorge was behind the counter and said we could sit wherever we wanted so we chose a table next to the front so we could look out the window (If you are wondering how I know his name, it's because it's on a picture on the wall behind the counter. He is a dancer, and from the looks of it he is extremely talented). Jackie came over and told us that it was a great spot because she liked to sit and people watch. She made me laugh.

Jorge came and took our order and I got the French dip sandwich with fried green tomatoes. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich with zinger sauce and onion rings. We shared the caprese salad.

The food came fairly quickly. Everything was seasoned perfectly and we were both beyond happy. The only negative I can think of is someone else's sandwich was left with us. My husband had to take it back to the counter. It looked amazing but I would have felt guilty for eating someone else's food.

I will for sure be back to this restaurant. And I will recommend this place to all of my friends. I loved the food and the atmosphere.

Great little spot. The homemade style ranch was excellent! Food overall was wonderful, only item we had that could use some improvement was the marinara sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks - it was just a basic, prepackaged sauce.
Sweet potato fries were great! As was the grilled chicken sandwich, would order again.
Slightly on the pricey side for a casual lunch, but quality food isn't cheap. Came out to a little over $20pp including a shared appetizer and tip.

One of the most lively, small restaurants I've been to in ages. The owner is lively and very involved with her team why, by my few experiences there, enjoy their work. Oh, and if you stopped by this restaurant for the food, you are in luck. I've gone many times, and many times I've been pleased with the delicious eats. Highly recommend them.

The owner was rude! This was my first time eating here and I will not be back. We sat down and waited forever without any acknowledgment. I went to the counter and was rudely told to order at counter (by the owner.) She interrupted me numerous times and when I tried to place my drink order she told me to sit down and her “girl,” who was an adult, would come and get my drink order. We waited 10 minutes and still had not placed our drink order. When I went back to the register, again. I was told to sit down and she would come and get my drinks. I should have walked out, however was in town to see a production at MOH. My daughter’s wrap was undercooked and messy. The chicken fingers were a JOKE! My club was good, however the rudeness of the owner killed it. Never treat your customers poorly! Not worth the money!!!

Jackie's BrickHouse Eatery is a small town delight. We were welcomed with a warm "Hello" from Jackie. The breakfast was wonderful; I look forward to coming back to try the lunch menu. If you enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere while eating a delicious meal Jackie's is the place for you.

What a happy place! Efficient, nimble, no nonsense service with fresh ingredients. After a warm generous greeting, you can expect, Johnny-on-the-spot, hot coffee refills with a smile. The crepes are made over a several hour process by Jackie herself using freshly churned butter milk. Worth the stop and I would gladly add "worth the wait", but not necessary since the staff is so speedy. 5 stars!

I was promptly greeted and seated, and my water came out quickly. After a quick look at the menu I decided on the Cobb Salad, sub carrots for tomatoes. Absolutely wonderful. The dressing was the perfect compliment to the fresh greens and the portions of bacon and chicken were not skimpy like other places. I could have used one more hard-boiled egg, but that's hardly a complaint when the salad was this good.

Just went back yesterday and want to add that is was so tasty and the staff was friendly and quick! If you haven't tried it, you should. They do close at 2pm, so make plans for lunch!

We've eaten at the Brickhouse many times over the years and a fabulously energetic young woman bought it in the spring of 2021. The menu didn't change much and neither did the taste of the food. However the ambiance is more vibrant and loud to match the new owner's vibrant and bubbly personality.

It was about 1.30 when we arrived and there were a couple tables open. We had to wait for a bit before the owner/waitress took our drink order. Then it took twice as long as that to actually get our drinks.

The rest of the room was filling up and she's a bit scattered. We finally got our drinks and she took out food order.

They brought us fried nuggets of ham, cheese, and potato. It was yummy!! Look for those as an appetizer!!

Hubby got the Philly sandwich and I got the fried green tomato grilled chicken sandwich. Both arrived HOT 🔥!

My fried green tomato wasn't quite as crispy as last time but the sandwich was delicious. It was a bit messy tho, so you will need extra napkins. Hubby's Philly was also hot and delicious.

The fries were smaller this time and were a disappointment to me. They were hot, but I prefer more potato in my fry. Hubby ate all of his though.

Overall, it's a great local restaurant with a heartfelt staff. We will return and if you are nearby at lunchtime, please give them a try.
