It's a nice place to host events or retreats, it's a Christian camp ground which has history for more than 100 years. Personally the place was unkept, very dusty. Certain activities were restricted due to lack of staff. Bathrooms were a bit of a hassle to get to. The beautiful part is that as soon as it gets dark the stars come out and it's beautiful. During October it can get really cold at night. About 2 and half hours away from San Diego. They have activities like hatchet throwing, archery, and airtag(overrated). Overall not bad.

I go here with my church during the summer and it is a really great experience. The area is very clean and there is a lot of nature. The cabins are all nice and my favorite part of this site is the creek. The creek is really beautiful and a nice place to spend time and take some nature pictures.

I went here over 30 years ago with my church for the annual retreat; four times as a kid and once two years later on leave from the Army just to 'feel it' again. Some of the BEST memories were the evening talks & singing at the fire pits. It was a good personal times to talk with other kids. My life was a steady storm those years and the retreat was a total escape and recharge with good people. I ate a lot of oatmeal and pancakes there, too. 🙂 I pray you are all safe from these fires; that's what brought me looking you up tonight. Blessings.
