I am staying here as I write this, just got here I can done tell you it’s a dump for the price tv’s in bedrooms are a joke got to have a magnifying glass to see them bathrooms to small missing a light bulb in one vanity light, drywall is busted in one bathroom behind the sink, get your shit together before you rent this place outdoor furniture is nasty, got a kids ironing board that I’m going to have to iron on that’s a joke, would I rent this shithole again….Never! Oh half of blinds were missing in bunk bed room, this place is a dump, I’ve stayed at 404 several times I love it there and by the way I’m staying at 502 Huntington by the Sea, if you come up on it to rent, Keep on Scrolling! You will regret renting this like I did, never again!

We stayed here September 16-23, 2023 in unit 302 the first evening we discovered several roaches in the kitchen, crawling on the countertops and cabinets when I attempted to make dinner. I contacted management we were assured they would try and move us as soon as another unit was available and was offered a refund on half the rent and the cleaning deposit. We were offered another unit several days later 205 which had roaches as well, again notified management. Our vacation was ruined, stayed out of the condo except to shower and sleep, kitchen was unusable after I had spent $230 on groceries I had to throw out. They did send an exterminator on the 3rd day which only made the activity worse. I ended up bringing one home with me in my stuff. I was only ever refunded $302 out of almost $2400 I paid for the week. Property manager Cathy offered me the refund I never asked for one but she didn’t honor her word. I will never stay here again. Another manager Debbie that accompanied the exterminator acted like it was no big deal only a few roaches, one is too many in my opinion. I wrote a review but Vacasa refuses to post it. My family and I have stayed here for years and this used to be a nice place to stay but apparently now it’s literally a roach motel! I have plenty of pictures and videos for proof. I love the location and the beach but they have a real issue here.

Upon arrival, the place is being remodeled. Jackhammering going on for hours. We were not told this upon booking or we would not have reserved. The condo appeared clean at first glance however the cockroaches made their presence known quickly. The back door doesn't lock. We notified them within 30 min of our arrival but the couldn't send anyone that day. I'm writing this less than 24hrs on site!
No one should have to spend $1200 for this. So much for a relaxing 10 year wedding anniversary trip. 😭

My group of 5 enjoyed our stay at Huntington 302. It has everything you need in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels and wash rags provided and for a group of 5 we did not have to wash any of them. They give you a travel size bottle of dish soap, a sponge, a few dishwasher and washing machine pods. You will need to bring extra garbage bags. They provide a goof variety of board games. One of the TV's had a roku connected. The 2 bedrooms have ceiling fans!! There is no washer and dryer in the unit. You have to use the facilities in the hall (like a hotel). It will cost a little over $4 for washing and drying (credit card only). This unit does not include beach chairs. There is no handicap ramp to the beach. If you bring a wagon you will have to carry it up and down stairs. The overall stay was a lot of fun. You are steps away from the beach and have a beautiful view!!

|Great unit if you have kids!|Review of Huntington By The Sea|Pending review|We stayed at Huntington by the Sea on Memorial Day week in Unit 101 and it was the perfect fit for my family. The unit was on the ground floor right in front of the pool. In the past, I've always rented upper floor units. But as we grew into a family of 5, it became more important to be closer to the ground where we could watch the kids and get to them at a moment's notice. Plus, lugging all our personal items, waiting for the elevator and/or walking up and down the steps to get to the room became a huge hassle due to the crazy amount of stuff we always took with us on vacation. The entire unit had just been updated and the real thing was actually better than the pictures! The owners even had beach toys in the bench outside for guests who had kids so you wouldn't have to buy any yourself and different board games inside. They also provided us with complimentary beach service and WiFi. I was told that each unit is independently owned and some do not have either or you have to pay for it in advance. The unit had everything we needed and also included starter items like soap, toilet paper, laundry pods, etc and even pods for the Keurig! The condo itself is a great size since it is a low-rise and the beach is private and not crowded at all. The guest contact was great and sent us a personalized workbook with everything we needed to know prior to our stay. This will definitely be our spot from now on!

This was the best place we have stayed at yet on the Emerald Coast. The quick response to email questions before arriving, the cleanliness of the unit and the VIEW! We used the brand new gas grills outside and they were great. If you have young children they will love the pool it changes color at night for a great effect. The manager on site is very friendly. I saw the gentleman who takes care of the pool and grounds every day. I really cannot say enough about everyone we encountered when renting this unit. It all started with speaking with Becky P she was so quick to respond. Our deposit money is back in our account quickly. We have had some bad experiences and I look forward to working with this group again. Thank you so much for making this a great and easy experience for us.

After I paid to book at Huntington By The Sea, I read construction would start my first day there. We planned to spend most our time in our condo. The exterior maintenance was so extremely loud beginning every morning just a few minutes before 8am! The dust was so thick that visibility was limited at times along with breathing when going in and out of the condo. The condo was overpriced compared to the age and wear on the condo. The view and short distance to the ocean were excellent.

After 11 years, we returned to Destin for another family reunion. Most of the family was staying at a beach house about a 1/4 mile down the beach but a couple of families 'overflowed' into nearby condos. We ended up at Huntington by the Sea, the same place we stayed 11 years ago, and I'm glad we did. The last time we stayed there, we were on the first floor and it was nice to just walk out of the back door and down to the beach, but this time we were on the fourth floor and I think I preferred this because of the great views from there. The trek up and down the stairs was not to bad (especially now that the kids are older) and we spent a lot of time on the porch.||||The condo was clean, had everything we needed, and easily slept the six people in our family. Access to the beach was easy. There are a lot of places to eat and get groceries within easy walking distance. I would love to go back.
