I worked with Coach Dave at the House Of Champs for a while and I can't recommend him enough. From the start, he took the time to really listen to my goals. It’s not just about getting me in shape—he understands what I’m looking for in terms of strength, performance, and overall fitness. His personalized approach really shows that he cares about my progress, not just a one-size-fits-all workout. He pushes me just the right amount, but also knows when to adjust things based on how my body feels. Great guy, professional, and really knows his stuff. If you're a guy serious about making real progress, he’s the trainer to go to.

I have been unmotivated and uninterested in any kind of exercise (structured or unstructured) for my entire life. In March 2024, at age 46, 2 friends and I decided to join House of Champs Women’s Strength training class. I couldn’t do a squat to save my life, a pushups, or plank was near impossible, and had no endurance at all, let alone any strength that was useful in my day to day life as a mom and nurse. After being consistent holding myself accountable to my coaches and friends, I can honestly say I can’t remember a time that I have actually felt more PROUD of my body and its growing STRENGTH. I’m not a model or in perfect shape but a can function without aches and pains. Even in my teens and 20’s I didn’t feel this much confidence in myself. Coach B and Coach Dave have changed my life, and helped me grow as a strong capable (getting older) woman.

When I came to House of Champs I had very little experience in strength training. As a high school senior, I was going through my fourth year of field hockey, second year of cross country, and fourth year of track and field. Despite my dedication to these sports, I assumed the strength training I was doing in my school practices was enough to help me succeed and rarely lifted outside of that setting. By November of my senior year, I had been diagnosed with two stress reactions in my left femur, which I was told would prevent me from running and training for at least three months. Being in the middle of the college application and athletic recruitment process, this was not an option for me. Immediately following the two week full-rest period prescribed by my doctor, I began attending House of Champs to work on training that would benefit me in my recovery period without putting me at risk of further injury. Coach Dave was great at helping me to maximize what I gained from speed training as I worked through the rehab process for my leg, introducing alternative exercises that fit what my injury allowed but still challenged me and helped me grow. Coach B was very understanding of my lack of experience in weightlifting, and supported me in learning proper technique in the weightroom. Over the two months before I was able to return to running, I trained at House of Champs twice a week and experienced a great deal of progress. By the time I was able to return to racing, my form had improved immensely, I was stronger than ever, and I had developed running technique to prevent injury in the future, all thanks to my time at House of Champs. I was so impressed with the progress I made in that short time that I continued training at House of Champs all through my spring track season and into the summer, and my time there continued to pay off. Now in my freshman year of college as a D3 athlete, I am a scoring runner on my cross country team and I am able to easily keep up with my teammates in the weight room, an area in which I had always struggled. Training at House of Champs was the best decision I made for my athletic career, my only regret is not joining sooner. I will always owe a great deal of my success as an athlete to Coach B and Coach Dave, and I will always be so grateful for my time at House of Champs!

If I could give 10 stars I would! The B.yond Strength women’s training program at House of Champs is the best! After the 6 week challenge, I had lost pounds and inches, but more importantly I had gained a commitment to myself, a healthier stronger self. The small group size allows for the coaches to focus on form - to prevent injury, and/or modifying an exercise to better fit the member’s skill level. It is evident that Coach B and Coach Dave want each of us to succeed, not just that day or month, but long term. I love that the sessions are full body workouts and different every time! It’s not like staring at the clock on a treadmill, wishing it would be over already. The sessions are pre-planned and we move seamlessly as a group through them, all while being encouraged by the coaches and each other. I have and will continue to recommend this program!! ? ?

The Coaches (B and Dave) are awesome and very knowledgeable and supportive of all the athletes they coach.

My daughter Alyssa went from being underweight and barely being able to lift an 8-pound dumbbell to being able to squat weight over 140 pounds. She was taught the best form and purpose of each exercise or movement. This experience will last her a lifetime and allow her to prevent serious injuries from improper training. Now she is off to college as a track athlete. HOC was such a great experience for us. Totally worth the drive. And I can’t thank them enough for the time and care they have provided for my special athlete.

Coach Dave and Coach B are worth every penny! Each session is specifically tailored to each athlete with a strong focus on injury prevention and proper mechanics. We initially committed to 3 months and saw such huge improvements in speed, agility, vertical jump, and strength that we kept our kids in the program. One of our athletes previously had knee pain that completely resolved with the exercises prescribed. Totally worth it!

I can’t believe how I feel after the 6-week start up program. Coach B and Coach Dave really work on helping each one of us individually reach our goals while working on form. I lost not only weight but inches! Excuses not to work out are no longer made - I look forward to the 5:30 am routine three days a week and have the extra energy to get lots of steps in during the day! I absolutely love this program and the small group of ladies I work out with! The program motivated me so much that I’m continuing with House of Champs! Thanks Coach B and Coach Dave! Keep up the great work and dedication!

House of Champs increased my explosiveness and athletic ability immensely. Even though I was only able to train for 2 months the skills and exercises I learned under Coach Dave and Coach B are indispensable. It prepared me to go to college athletics, where many of the same drills and skills are used. When I attended college strength classes I found myself better prepared because I had done many of the exercises before. This gym will truly elevate your athletic ability!
