If I could give zero stars, I would. Of course you pay ahead of time of knowing the schedules. League waits until last minute to advise whose team you are on. Staff is volunteer understandably but are not flexible. If you can't adhere to their schedule, you can't play. Requested to switch to a different team due to practices on a different day, and staff declines. You must call multiple phone numbers and even in writing just to even get a call back. Coaches they put are anyone, no background and unprofessional just like the Staff Cindi. They take your money and that's it. In the end, the children lose out due to not being able to play. League -John Nunez states they care to give fundamentals to children but no flexibility on ensuring a child gets to play/practice. Never again with this league. No wonder they had such a hard time to find staff. Not worth your time / money!!

I wouldn’t even give a star if I could. I signed my kids up in June and still haven’t gotten any type of schedule to let me know when they start. I’ve been trying to contact Cindi the only representatives number available on any site and I haven’t gotten an email, text, or call back. Im requesting a refund for a personal reason and still haven’t gotten a response to that either.
This place reminds me of the aysl that I had put my son into when I lived down the hill. You guys need to have better ways for parents to communicate with you. Or atleast have Cindi answer her calls. Kind of unprofessional. Very sad and disappointed. I hope to receive a call, text, or atleast an email back soon.

My son has been with HDYSL for the past 13 years and has loved every minute of it! It is bittersweet that this is his last season of Rec, but has learned so much from his coaches.

This place is so disorganized. The first problem is that practice/game schedule kept getting pushed back we were not told what our practice schedule was going to be until about 8pm the night before practice. After a couple week delay the first day of games at Brewster park started and it was a nightmare. There were no signs saying where to go or what to do. Our coach was not informed of anything so on game day he had no idea what was happening. The coach kept getting told ( I assume by the manager) to go to different places on the field. We would show up at that part of the field then told to go somewhere else. The children played about 30 minutes after they were suppose to and by the time they got to the field none of them really wanted to play. Now the night before our second week of games we get notice games are postponed and no idea when they will start. I’m trying not to be to upset because of COVID and coming back after a year hiatus but they really should have waited to start soccer until they were more prepared.

Horrible racist organization. Not only disorganized but a parent pulled a knife out at a game and then Cindi lied and was deleting facebook comments after getting called out.
