First time golfing here and we had an excellent experience. Staff was welcoming and friendly, and clearly explained things to us as first-timers. The course is beautiful and excellently maintained. We weren’t pushed, and we also never really had to wait for anyone ahead of us, but our round still lasted about 4.5 hours. I was a little surprised by that, but the round was so enjoyable that I never cared. There are some reviews online that speak of bad attitudes by members to outsiders, or unfriendly staff. We experienced exactly the opposite. We met some members who were very cool and welcoming, and we met Scott who works at the course and couldn’t have been nicer. I will look forward to golfing here again when I’m in town!

I brought my 11 year old grandson to use the beautiful practice area at Heron Creek. The driving range was large and comfortable and used turf as the surface. Then we went to the short-game area which included a large green with plenty of pitch and putt options. I'm looking forward to playing the course.

Our son and our daughter in law got married this past Saturday at Heron Creek and I can not say enough about the staff and facility . Sarah the catering manager was fantastic , from the rehearsal , the rehearsal luncheon and the wedding nothing could have gone smoother . Not one item was overlooked . I was in catering for years and did large events including weddings and her professionalism was top notch . The food at both the luncheon and reception was very good and her staff was friendly and accommodating . Joseph was great and made sure everyone was 100% happy . I would not hesitate at all to suggest folks look in to Heron Creek for any type of affair .

Beautiful course but overall I’m not impressed. I would've loved to come back but i wont. First ranger was very nice and asked if we could try to pick up our pace. When we did, he even gave us kudos. Mind you, we were keeping pace with the group right ahead of us and the one behind us was further behind.
We stopped to use the bathroom between the 9 holes and got stopped by another ranger who said he would skip us a whole hole if we didn’t speed it up. At this point, my group isn’t even having fun anymore because we are just rushing… the whole experience just went downhill with how the rangers rushed us.

Great golf course. Reasonable price and beautiful setting. Only concern was that We golfed on a Saturday and were quite backed up. Had to wait between 8-10 minutes to tee off due to slow pace. 🙁 staff are very courteous.

The Rangers are very pushy and aggressive, they tend to pick on the folks that does not look like them. Overall, very nice course..

This is a sensitive subject to discuss publicly and we are dealing with people's privacy, safety and livelihoods; but it is a concern that must be addressed; in reference to your questions, TT was @07:20 on 12/7/2024. The game of golf has had its issues with inclusion and accessibility to the less fortunate. If your goal is to grow the sport and make it available for everyone regardless of there social or economical status, it starts simply with the staff that you employ, everyone needs to be treated equally...

I have played Creek to Oaks. Such a peaceful, beautiful, and challenging 18 holes. Serene and in amazing shape! Wonderfull driving range, short game practice areas, and putting green. Friendly staff and a truly championship facility! I’ll be back for sure.
