Gorgeous. Might be my new favorite. Seems like most courses now are only challenging because they're long, you definitely need to consider strategy on almost every hole here. If you step into the box and try to blast 300 yards drives on every hole you are gonna have a bad time.

Course was beautiful and in great shape. Has a unique green on the par 5. You can tell it is an Arnold Palmer course with the accuracy needed for approach shots. Not a course I would walk because of some distances between some of the holes. If I had 1 complaint, it would be the amount of poison ivy up and down the holes.

Management is terrible. Course is overrated. Go to Wintonbury. Cheaper and better and way better people. 90 dollars for a round in November and was told everyone else around is about that. Flat out told me to go somewhere else when I pushed back. Also they took out the iconic stone structure that was in the middle of the first hole. Took them three months to cancel membership. I could go on…

This is my favorite golf course in CT. Challenging but rewarding, holes are all very interesting and different. Bunkers had a little water in them but they are in the process of redoing them. Would highly recommend

Love this course. it's always a great place to play. They give you first responder and military discount. There was a lot of rain in the northeast this summer. Traps are filled with water free lift. A few tough holes but a fun time.

I've played this course a lot the past couple of years. The twilight rates make it a really good value. However, they really need to figure out their management here. It'd be a 4-5 star review if they had the right people.

Conditions wise, it's pretty good. Green were recently aerated. No idea how recently, looks to be weeks ago now, but they were pretty bumpy. Putts did not roll true. Fairways were in good shape. Soft but not wet. Moderate roll out on your drives. Rough was up pretty good as well as the fescue just outside the rough. With that up so high, it's pretty easy to lose a ball being only slightly off line.

Biggest issue however is how the place is managed. There's never a starter, probably 99% of the time, or a ranger for that matter. The one time there was a starter, he was pretty rude immediately on the first tee and put a sour taste in my mouth going into the round.

We played here this past Wednesday. Pay $65 each to play on a weekday, mid day. We were a foursome. No starters out there or rangers spacing out groups and pacing people. The round ended up being 5:15 long and they didn't seem to care. Instead of hurrying some groups up that backed up pace of play, they were handing out rain checks after 9 holes.

I'll be sticking to twilight rounds here.

The course is typically in good shape, but a bit more expensive. I paid $38 for 9 holes and a cart on an October weekday afternoon. A few holes are quite difficult for higher handicap golfers due to a required carry and/or greens with not much room around them.

This was a pleasant surprise tucked away in Bloomfield, Connected.

Arnold Palmer designed a magnificent golf course that challenges all aspects of your golf game.

It's a challenging golf course but not to the point where you're no longer having fun.

The greens are in excellent condition which makes them delightful to put on.

I'll definitely stop by here whenever I'm in town again!
