I've been a member of this fantastic boat club for over five years now, and I can honestly say it has made me fall in love with boating! As one of the early members at the Miami location, I've witnessed firsthand the dedication and professionalism of the dock crew. They are always amazing—ready to assist with any needs and ensuring that every visit is enjoyable.

As someone who had never boated before joining, I quickly fell in love with the experience, particularly offshore fishing, which has become my favorite activity. The club's commitment to maintaining high-quality boats is evident; they replace the boats every three years, so you know you're getting a reliable and enjoyable ride.

Whenever I've encountered any issues, the staff has been incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure I feel supported every step of the way. Overall, I can't recommend this club highly enough. It’s been an incredible journey, and I look forward to many more years of fun on the water! 🌊🚤❤️

Amazing location! They do need more boats but they just opened a few months back. Joseph was great and very helpful! We are from Tampa so it’s great to have a boat location in Miami. They also have 24ft cobias with 250hp Yamahas which is great! Wish we had those in Tampa bay and st Pete!

One unique experience!!!! Freedom Boat Club at Miami Beach Marina is the best location!!! The staff is very professional and helpful !!! Special shout out to Carlos, Ney, and the other guy bearded with long hair !!!

I would not recommend this boat club. It is very difficult to make a reservation. They have way too many members for the amount of boats they are offering. If you call to speak with a manager , they are never available and never return your calls. We are cancelling our membership this month. I suggest you find another club with better customer service and benefits.

We live in MD, and recently took boat out from here during our vacation. Seamless process, friendly and helpful staff. This is such a popular destination, but we were able to reservation about 3 weeks out before our trip. Very happy with this location and FBC overall. We had a fun day cruising and at the beach at Monument Island

Love the staff, the service and company! Residents of South Beach, my wife and I joined in the fall of 2020 during the pandemic as an alternative to going to the beach. We've learned so much about boating and it's now our preferred way to enjoy living in a tourist hotspot where going to the beach has become is a terrible option. We always bring our dogs and they love it! /////BOATS: With regards to boats breaking down: It's not the fault of the Staff or Company that Members/Guests take no responsibility in taking care of the boat they rented for the day. It's not fair to other members when a guest disregards warnings by Staff members that the Tide is High and they should NOT go under the Venetian Cswy bridge or they will catch the Bimini Top... and guess what!? They do it anyway, the top gets ripped off, and they falsely blame the staff. It's member incompetence and personal entitlement that ruins the boats, not the staff. We have also learned that if members were to take better care of the boats, new/replacements boats will be added. //////MARINA:  Lastly, we have discovered that the Miami Beach Marina (run by Suntex) is directly competing with Freedom by now offering their own rental boats. They will not allow Freedom to rent additional boat slips to add more boats for members and actively antagonize the staff. I hope that Freedom stays at the Miami Beach Marina and does not move to Coral Gables or Brickell (which they are considering b/c of Suntex). Boating in Miami is the best way to enjoy where we live and I truly hope they will be around for a long time and are able to expand.

Gio and the team at Miami FBC are the best! We were visiting Miami from Tampa for the weekend and were able to spend the morning cruising around and exploring the area. It was the highlight of the weekend. Amazing boat, great help from Gio and the team. Thanks FBC

When I was considering joining a boat club, I visited multiple boat clubs across South Florida, and although some of them were less expensive and/or had slightly larger boats -- I could wholeheartedly say that Freedom Boat Club was the right decision. The reservation system, boats, and flexibility just keeps getting better and better! They've added dozens of new locations since I joined, expanded to more countries, and the fleet keeps on growing! The negative comments on here are misleading -- the staff is very helpful, and so long as you respect their very fair rules and treat the hardworking staff with civility and respect, they will go out of the way to make sure you and your family/friends have a good and safe time. As someone who was always interested in boating, but didn't want to dump money into buying a boat and paying $1k+/monthly for a dock in Miami, joining has been one of the best decisions I've ever made!
