Do NOT come here if your child has never played before. They will not learn anything and not get to play in games. They may help your child if you start out young. My child started in junior high because everyone makes the team. However she had Coach Rolland who would only concentrate on his club players. The girls who did not know how to play would stand against the wall and watch. Many other parents were getting frustrated as well. Practice was geared mainly for club and games my child would see 5-10 mins out of the several hours that you are there. And that was simply to give the club players a break. Coach Rolland even had one girl crying after a game. Unless your child is experienced and plays club, do NOT come here. It is torture for you and your child. You pay all this money for nothing and waste of time. Find a community center rec team. This place also pushes you to join their club which is why they encourage everyone to come and play on a team. Many parents and I regretted coming here.

Great facility. 5 courts makes plenty if space for multiple teams and age groups. I've coached for 2 seasons and really enjoy the Forza family. Central to French Valley, its just of Winchester Rd, so easy to get to. High recommended.

Update 10/2/23 - Just added my 1YO to the Forza family this weekend at the 14 and under tryouts for 2023/24 season. Leadership announced this will be their 10 year anniversary. Way to go! This will be my 3rd year coaching as well and I can truly say I've enjoyed my time there.

My child started at Forza1 at 7 years old. She literally couldnt hit the ball over the net while standing right in front of it. The coaches and other players were very encouraging and helpful.
My daughter is entering her 4th season at Forza1 and today her confidence, self esteem, and overall outlook on her future is through the roof. She has learned teamwork, dedication, hi’s, lows, how to handle adversity, how to deal with her own, her teammates, coaches, and parents emotions in tense situations, and so many more lessons for her 10yr old self. The lessons and love given at Forza1 is priceless. There is a team for whatever level your child is ready to compete at.
Forza1 is a safe place for your child in more ways than 1.

Don’t waste your money $3700 to join, $1500 uniforms, $500 association fees, $20 parking no in and out once you park. $20 per person to enter the gym to watch your child play. The coaches don’t build skills or technique on a fair basis. The coaches favoritism is highly obvious. If your child is not a previous player they will only be on the court during a game for 2 minutes. They don’t rotate their favorites even when they’re missing ball after ball, serve after serve. Go someone else don’t bring your child to this league.

Your money isn't justified here. Right now, I don't think the investment is worth it.

Forza1 Volleyball needs improvement with its professionalism and commitment to its team and each player on it. This week, families are dealing with a recurring challenge of someone who doesn't respect time management. Respectfully, it seems disrespectful to always change the schedule. Our whole day has to revolve around Forza1 because the schedule might change.

When you change the schedule, a child will likely miss practice. Missing practice is not great for a child's mental health, so please stop changing the practice schedule.

It seems like players may be behind for missing practice. There's no option for the players to make up the lessons learned on the day they missed yet. If there is, please inform.

Thank you for your consideration to respond to this recurring issue.

Very Respectfully,

G

After giving Forza well over $5,000 over the last few years my daughter and I feel completely let down by this so-called non-profit organization.

Forza1 needs to provide better communication to Volleyprep parents and have better organization. The first 3-month session my daughter did was fine, but the 2nd was a mess. The parents received no e-mails or information about tournaments or their practice shirts or anything. Twice the class started 10 minutes late because there was no one there to unlock the doors. The facility is freezing in the winter and melting hot in the summer. The coaches need to give feedback to their players to let them know how they are doing and what they need to work on. After 6 months of Volleyprep, we thought my daughter was doing well, but during tryouts they put her on the lowest team with the younger girls (everyone makes a team) and she was really surprised. It seemed like she was just as good as most of the other girls her age, but apparently not. If she had been given feedback prior to this then she could have been saved some shock and embarrassment. I regret choosing this club for volleyball.

I’m sorry to say that before the pandemic this use to be the best club around my area. Now this club is all about money and not about what’s best for the players. They literally place players on levels that they are not qualified to play causing the kids that are at that level to beat down their bodies trying to over compensate. My child’s body is completely beat up and her passion for the sport has diminished. DO NOT send your child here to prepare for college.
