Will lie to you about cancellation terms. I wanted March to be my last payment. No longer needed the membership past April. Staff said I had to wait until after the March payment was processed if I still wanted to use the gym in early April. So I did as they instructed. Now they are charging me another payment in April and running my membership through May. They are citing the contract says next month is charged after cancellation but employees at the gym are telling you otherwise. Stated they cannot confirm what employees say. So the employer has no responsibility for their employees? … I’ve used Forge as a gym on and off a few times when needed. Never again.

I recently rejoined this gym after moving out of town a year ago. The gym is spacious, clean, and has all the equipment to get started right and has other options to join such as the sauna and has great personal training options. The staff and customer service is what brought me back to this gym. I’m excited to be back in this gym and continue my workouts where I left off. The positive atmosphere definitely motivates me to keep coming back.

Mothers beware!!
My husband was a member here more than 5 years ago, and I accompanied him as a guest once or twice, for which he paid a guest fee. After relocating back to the area, this gym piqued our interest, particularly due to its child care services. As a stay-at-home mom, leaving my 2 year old in someone else's care isn't a decision I take lightly. I was eager to take advantage of the free trial to observe how my son would adjust to the child care environment before committing.

I was upfront about my past visits as a guest, but during the tour, when I attempted to register for the trial, the system wouldn't allow it due to my previous status as a PAID guest. I suggested using a different email to create a new account, with the sole intent of evaluating the child care services before making any financial commitment. However, this suggestion was promptly dismissed, and I was informed that, despite never having been an official member, I could not access the free trial. Even after reaching out to the owner, I was met with the response, "Sorry, that’s our policy."

I am genuinely astounded by the complete indifference this establishment shows toward MOTHERS AND CHILDREN. All the verbal assurances regarding child care services are meaningless if I'm not allowed the opportunity to assess the environment before paying two months' worth of fees. Without that fundamental trust, I cannot, in good conscience, proceed with membership.

I will gladly take my business elsewhere—where both my child and I can feel safe, valued, and welcome.

Super impressed with my overall experience at Forge Rx. If you are looking for an AMAZING personal trainer I HIGHLY recommend Collin Hull. He is the real deal! He is positive and so knowledgeable about all aspects of fitness. His approach has made working out FUN and find myself doing things I never believed I could do!!

So far I have been coming to Forge-Rx for 2 months and I can say my overall experience has been extremely satisfying. If you are in the winder area and want to start your health journey look no further. The gym has every strength training machine you could possible think of along with a cardio room up stairs. They also have a sauna that you can pay extra for if you so choose to do so. The staff are very approachable and friendly and willing to assist should have any questions or concerns that you may have. The people that attend the gym are very polite and super respectful to each other. Definitely a great gym and highly recommend if you are in the area.

Overall, if you want to change your lifestyle and make health and fitness your lifestyle this a great place to start. They also have programs that you can sign up for to work with a personal trainer that will help you out with your workouts along with your nutritional recommendations.
