I've traveled the world, crossing three seas, and experienced numerous gyms along the way. But none have impressed me like Fitness Club Merritt Island! The facilities are top-notch, the equipment is state-of-the-art, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Whether I'm looking for a intense workout or a relaxing session, Fitness Club Merritt Island has exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is energizing and motivating, making it easy to push myself to new limits.

If you’re fitness enthusiast like myself or just starting out on your wellness journey, I highly recommend Fitness Club Merritt Island. It's truly a world-class gym!!!

Ps: the gym has a childcare is Animal friendly on top of it all!!!

Nice gym. Way too hot! They keep the AC set around 75 - 76 degrees. It’s insane. You sweat immediately. Start working out at all, and forget about it.

"Appropriate temperature, humidity and air circulation levels should be maintained in the fitness floor area. The following levels are recommended: Temperature: 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit." - ACSM's Health/Fitness Facility Standards and Guidelines.

I’ve been to this gym a handful of times and I’ve enjoyed it for the most part until my recent visit. I was using a machine and just started resting when one of their trainer just told me he was going to work in without even asking. I then told him I had one set left. He proceeded to shove me out of the way to use the machine. I know this isn’t an isolated event either as I’ve heard stories similar to this from friends. Incredibly rude behavior from their staff and very uncomfortable environment.

Nowhere is it clearly posted that we’re obligated to share equipment with other gym goers, however, their rules do blatantly say “keep your personal space” which their own trainer did not do when he shoved me away from the machine, but by all means, continue hiring staff that assaults customers. I also spoke to the person at the front desk who said she’d speak to Manny, but I doubt anything was done and I doubt anything would be done if I spoke directly with him. Y’all have terrible customer service.

I do not like leaving bad reviews however I had a frustrating experience with this gym. While the gym is very nice, hidden fees and rules became an issue. I joined through active and fit which is $29 dollars monthly, however before joining to avoid a surprise fee I attempted to contact the gym a couple of times which went straight to voicemail and I also left a message for them to call back but did not receive a call back. When I showed upon on a weekend I was told if you want to come after hours (4pm on a weekends, 0730pm weekdays) there would be an additional $20 dollar monthly fee in addition to the $29 dollars I pay to active and fit. I was told I had a "standard" membership with active and fit not "premium" which grants after hours access. However I was subsequently told had I joined through the gym directly for $38 dollars (more if not student or military) I would be granted after hours access however the classes such as yoga, HIT etc they offer would be an additional 20 dollars. I did call back today and confirmed this was in fact was the fees. I called active and fit back and reported this and they were kind enough to refund my money. I would be cautious with fine print and get all the details if you use insurance or are military with this gym.

Best gym in the area. Friendly inviting environment, clean, and never feels “packed”. Lots of equipment as well, I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait for a machine. 💪🏼

Been coming here for over and year and I can easily say this gym by far is the best I’ve ever been to. From the best equipment to the best employees. This gym has something for everyone.

Came in from out of town for a day pass and the owner Steve made my teammates and I feel at home. Couldn’t recommend this gym more, great vibes and great equipment.
