Course is not maintained very well at all. Fairway grass feels like you’re hitting out of the rough because it’s so long. I’ve played 2 of the courses and neither were very impressive in terms of layout or maintenance. The driving range is actually quite nice but it’s been closed for months due to rains we had before the 2 hurricanes hit us and every time I call they say they have no idea when they plan on reopening it(when they actually answer the phone. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the associates are personable.

I'll start with some positives. The greens are in great shape and roll really well. The layout of the course is really beautiful. A true lynx style type of design. The clubhouse staff were great. The starters and rangers were in a foul mood and we had the earliest tee time of the day, 7am, even though they let two groups roll in front of us because they were "members". The mentality of disgruntled drill sergeants. Maybe I'm just spoiled? In Central FL $50 will get you some really decent golf. And I've played in rural areas where theres not really many courses.

We played the South and North course. The South was abhorrent. If you could find grass to hit off of, it was probably a grass stump, and probably in a sand trap. Theres no irrigation that I could see so the fairways are just beat up. Tee boxes are the same. Two holes on the South were not only temp tees, but they had you teeing up off of beat up range mat because the ground was literally that destroyed.

The North was better. Some fairway grass and where there was grass is was in decent shape. Again, the layout is really cool. Which makes it almost tragic. Easily the worst course on the island.

All I can say is WOW! The course looks great. The greens are in great shape. Enjoyed lunch as well. Staff was friendly and the food was really good. I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to enjoy a good day of golf and food.

A colder than usual week but the staff was very helpful and overall a nice course. Greens were very good shape.

We played here today for the first time in several years. As a Fernandina Beach resident and taxpayer I’m embarrassed how poorly the city maintains this course. This could be a jewel with proper maintenance, but it’s shocking how bad it is. From the tee boxes to the greens the conditions are bad or worse. If you’re coming to Amelia Island for golf cross this off your list.

We booked 18 holes to play while we were staying at Amelia Island through the clubs online portal. It was GolfNow. I prepaid for the golf and when we arrived we were told that only one of the 3 courses were available & it was the 9 hole course. They couldn’t figure out how to refund the money, told us to call golf now and we were told that the course has to do the refund. I called the course back & left a message. Two days later they returned my call & said it had already processed & they couldn’t refund but would give me a gift card. Completely useless for a person who lives in Chicago. I dare say they are very nice people but I would recommend never prepaying for golf & they might hire someone who understands IT because you can absolutely refund a credit card after it has processed. The 9 hole course certainly wasn’t the experience we had hoped for on our vacation.

I just played this course yesterday and I loved it.
Good strategic hole on the course.
Holes 2-9 are wide open.
The staff is awesome.
I would highly recommend this course.
The city runs this course and is low on the prices.

they have some work to do to bring it back to the glory it deserves..and the community deserves..we wish them well and want to support that effort..top tracer golf is fully functioning..they have a new management team and are hiring new staff..so keep an eye out..the place has tons of potential ...but the City Commissioners needs to get their act together and make better decisions about the golf course..we need some leadership..we need to have some capital investment because the quality of the condition has a direct correlation of the money spent..
