Nice layout! Great course! Even though they did aerification some time ago, the greens (though sandy, but that's a given) were great. Peaceful. The two gentlemen at the pro shop were not the friendliest at first, but did start/held a conversation. Ranger was friendly and helpful. I can't say anything about the amenities because I did not take advantage of them. I would most definitely play there again!

Great layout, Greens in great shape! Course was in great condition. Can't wait to get back there to play. Staff super friendly. Practice facility was very nice with lots of options on the short game. Heard it may go private someday so play it now while you can!

I live in Esplanade golf and country club and finished a 14-day intense yoga certification course with 14 other women 50 years plus and graduated today

so we all celebrated at the Barrel House restaurant here at Esplanade golf and country club
I want to give Kathy our service / waitress all the credit for our experience along with Chef Marco Who provided out-of-this-world meals along with the rest of the staff here

Kathy was constantly checking on us ...attentive friendly professional and answered all our questions regarding every item on the menu

All the staff here is wonderful and I would highly recommend ...whether you're going out for a romantic dinner or as a group.. it will be a wonderful experience on all levels!!!

Holy cow this will be elite when they finish the club house and amenities!! The course is 2 years old and is amazing! The superintendent has it on the right path to be a perfect top 100 in America golf course!!! Long and firm such an amazing layout!!!

What a nice track! Greens were in great shape and the roll was true. I come to Siesta Key about 3-4 times a year and Esplanade is always on the schedule. I have played just about every course in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, both private and public, and Esplanade ranks right up there with the best.

I purchased a pair of sunglasses at the pro shop and a couple days later they broke.
The following Sat when we arrived not play golf the gentleman behind the counter said that the only way I could exchange the broken glasses was if I made an appointment with accounting and talked to them.
I couldn't believe it especially since the clerk that told me this was the one who sold them to me the week before.

Its too much hassle to make appointment with their accounting dept and then go and see them just to get a 20.00 pair of sunglasses replaced.
Such treatment really irritated me especially since our foursome plays there every S and has lunch there..
This one incident was so irritation g that I decided there is n o way I'm going to p;purchase a home out there as .long as that clerk is runnun g the pro shop.

I sent an email to the management but they just ignored it and never got back to me.

My parents live in the neighbohood so we go down and hit a couple balls at the driving range and then go over to the tiki bar for a drink. Both are open to the public and truly give you the feeling of being at a resort.
