Founded in 1947 by local farmers Escalon Sportsman Club offers a place to shoot clays or practice honing your rifle or handgun skills. They have a indoor clubhouse, BBQ pit etc.
All new members must be referred by 2 existing members to join.

I rented this hall for my daughter's quinceañerq and it was terrible. The freezer/refrigerator was leaking puddles of water in the kitchen . It was in September and it was soooo hot. There is no air conditioner just some kind of swamp cooler and it was not working. I had left it on all night hoping to somehow cool the hall for the next day and it did not. I left the hall very clean. Even better than I had found it and Anthony refused to give me my deposit back. He said he was charging me $10 for each time he had to get on the ladder and pull a piece of string. He said that I put holes in the walls that were not there before which was not true either. He also had the nerve to blame me for his food in the freezer defrosting because I left it open. Not true. The freezer had issues since before we rented it. It never stopped flooding since I got the keys. The hall is conveniently located but please be aware of Anthony not being as nice and helpful as he seems to be at first. He will keep your deposit even if you have left everything the way your supposed to. He never did a walk through of the hall before or after with me. I had to leave the keys in his mailbox. A lot of the guests had to leave because it was so unbearably hot and I didn't blame them. I paid a lot of money. The hall should have a better cooling system. I can't believe that I was not given my deposit back. He should of refunded me all of the money I paid to rent it or offered me another Saturday to make up for the terrible condition of the hall and lack of air. Please be aware of the unfairness of this club and be sure to do a walk through before and after and take pictures.
