Clean gym, good equipment with reasonable crowds at peak hours.
Pricey enough to maintain a more professional clientele. Most members put their earbuds in and keep to themselves.
Pretty good about gym courtesy and members don’t hang out on weight machines playing on their phones.
No roving groups of teenage boys trying to max out on the bench or groups of teenage girls hoarding the squat racks.
All of the fluff of lifetime fitness, without the crowds. This is a gym for individual members, not for families/kids.

ETA the social media team should check before responding. I appreciate the thanks, but this is a one-star review, not a five-star review.

If you want quality and outstanding personal trainers, this is the place to go.

Otherwise, it's exorbitantly expensive and the equipment and amenities are no better than the downtown Y and most other gyms in the area - most of which offer a lap pool, something this location lacks.

Combine that with the locked in an expensive yearly membership. Todd, you are responsible for despite any changes in your ability to pay, and I recommend going somewhere else.

Equinox is an amazing gym! It’s incredibly clean, which makes every visit enjoyable. The coaches are all so friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Every class is a blast, keeping me motivated and engaged. I’ve been a member since 2021, and I absolutely love it here!

Very nice gym, well maintained, clean and with beautiful work spaces. I came in different days during the week and never overcrowded. The big windows facing green outdoors trees are very beautiful and it made my workouts a nice experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Also this club is located in a nice area, close to luxury stores and good restaurants.

Absolutely unethical billing practices. I moved and notified Equinox in writing several times that I was canceling my membership, yet they continue to overcharge me. On top of that, I’ve experienced wrongful charges in the past, which were a complete hassle to get resolved. Their personal training policies are equally frustrating—I paid for classes only to have them canceled, effectively taking away sessions I had already paid for.

Equinox markets itself as a premium gym, but their disregard for customers and their unethical billing practices tell a very different story.

As a local influencer with ties to ABC 13 and Fox News, I’d be more than happy to bring this issue to their attention for an investigative report. Consumers deserve transparency and accountability, and I hope my experience serves as a warning to others.

The 15-20 trainers in the morning make this gym a nightmare and impossible to workout in or enjoy. They all superset multiple pieces of equipment in a cramped space, throw towels and water bottles on benches and equipment to reserve them for later, and will interrupt your workout to claim they were using a piece of equipment 10 minutes ago and need it that second. Tyrus, James and Geronimo are the worst but they all do it. I get a quicker and more enjoyable workout driving 30 minutes further to another gym in the morning than at Equinox.

They even act this way during their personal workouts, with the old blonde lady (Ashley?) being the worst. She will take 10 pairs of weights for herself and 3 machines at once and scream across the gym at other trainers. She’s an employee, this gym is for paying members (200 dollars a month, mind you).

Until they fix this problem every member knows about, it’s not worth trying to go unless you need to hire a human rep counter. You are just a number to them unless you utilize personal training.

I visited Equinox at 7:30 PM hoping to explore the facility, but unfortunately, no one was available to show me around. For a premium gym, I expected better customer service and a more welcoming atmosphere. It felt disorganized and unprofessional. I had high expectations based on their reputation, but this experience left me disappointed. First impressions matter, and sadly, this one missed the mark.

Overcrowded, in particular due to having a trainer-focused environment. If you come from 7-9am, most of the lighter dumbbells might be missing, and you’ll spend 10 minutes waiting for an open bench because of trainers reserving unused benches with towels or weights for clients to come back to. I’ve been kicked off a machine twice because the trainer needed it. The response from the training staff is they don’t really feel this is a problem, and seem more concerned that I am raising the issue. Still like the location and availability of locker space, if only they would share the weight room a little more so people can workout efficiently instead of always working around the personal trainers.
