We have been going to Duran since it opened as we are locals and love the course. The greens and fairways were great the staff not so much. Upon arriving the golf shop we were greeted by a very unfriendly, non smiling, and rude staff. As if that wasn’t bad enough we proceeded to the T box on number 1 ten minutes early and there were no groups in front or behind us. I asked if we could T off and the starter said no because he didn’t want us holding up the invisible group behind us. I said that makes no sense there’s nobody behind us and he asked is there an issue? I said yes there is and he just walked off.
Not a good way to to have an “exceptional “ day of golf.
I’m pretty sure this was an isolated incident because we have never experienced such treatment before. Looking at some of the other reviews it may start becoming a trend, I hope not.
The Duran rates are more than other local courses as well if you check around.
Ok another update. Went back and the course is in BAD condition! For the amount in the summer they are charging your better off going to another course. I have never seen it in such bad shape.

Ich habe diesen Golfplatz am 19.11.24 gespielt.
Der Platz war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Grüns und Fairways waren perfekt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kurzum, es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Had an amazing time at Duran Golf Club this Sunday! The course was in pristine condition and provided a fantastic challenge for all of us. The staff was friendly, the greens were flawless, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you’re in the area and looking for a great round of golf, Duran Golf Club is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

We are novices and this was our first golfing experience ever! The employees on both sides of the golf course were helpful, friendly, explained everything very well and overall went above and beyond to make our day very enjoyable. The other golfers were very friendly too.

We loved it here and certainly will be returning! Thank you, guys!

Course is in rough shape especially for the price. For over $50 a round in the middle of summer we frankly had higher expectations.

Staff and pro shop was great. In my own opinion they should spend less on fancy landscaping at the clubhouse and more on the actual maintenance of the course.

Drove down from Ponte Vedra Beach hoping for some warmer weather and it turned out great. Played 1/6/225 - it was WINDY but pleasant temps. Staff was top shelf class. Cart guys, front desk, starter - all get a "5" = course was in awesome shape - greens were very fast but true. Wish I lived closer, I'd play here often

About last Saturday night: Another wonderful event at Duran Golf Club, the Tropical Caribbean night with good friends, delicious food and drinks, as well as the amazing live music and entertainment. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourself. We are looking forward for the next exciting experience at Duran.

Really comfortable place for Sunday brunch. Nice large outdoor seating area with terrific views of golf course and wetlands. Food was plentiful and tasty at very reasonable prices. Menu is small. Server was very attentive and friendly.
