Wished I could share better news and reviews of the Dryden course of old. But the last 4 times we’ve played, their grounds and greens have been terrible. Overbooked with slow players, No marshal or attendants at all. Inadequate carts, No cart craft service, or clubhouse and heavy equipment and adjacent water pump features on the course that inhibit play. The club facilities burned down 6+ years ago but I guess the mobile home “pro” shop is now permanent.

Played 18 holes today. Couldn't ask for a nicer morning on the golf course. I hadn't played here in over a year. Clubhouse is gone. I read they had a fire. You can still get beer, water, and snacks at the check-in trailer. It's still a great price with a cart. The course is in pretty good condition. They were watering the fairways this morning. Nice wide, tree lined fairways.

The course was in terrible shape. The greens not too bad but everything else was horrible to say the least. If they just use a mower a little more around this course, that would sure help. paid $45 for 18 holes and only played 10 holes due to catching up to players who were SLOW and would not let others get by them.

I will rate this course 4 stars because of the greens, best greens I’ve seen out of the past 10 courses I’ve played in about 3 week time. Ball runs smooth, checks quick and repair marks are fixed consistently. Could use some water in the fairways. All in all very relaxed course to play. I would definitely return.

I had a lot of fun here. I say this often but there aren't enough nice accessible muni courses out there, and this is one of them. Nice generous people, well kept, wide open fairways, and sneaky hard and small greens. If you are in the Modesto area and have the itch, this will be the scratch you need.

Played here yesterday and won’t be back. Second hole approach onto the green hits a dead spot, bounces six feet in the air and flys off. No pro shop or place to get food. Practice green practically unusable.

And it was an expensive round too. Like $60 with a cart. Do yourself a favor and just play Creekside as there is no way this course deserves a 4 star rating.
