This place is actually terrible. The smoking is so bad and between the locals and bartender who are extremely rude, I will never step foot in there....

I have been a member of this post from the being of my time in the Jacksonville FL area; have praised them no matter where I have traveled and now I get a working member to jump down my throat after I moved the the truck yet the two spaces over was parked the same as I was. The way I felt; it felt straight out racist as well as I was being targeted with the was it all came down. For the person in charge to tell me I was leaving and have her tell me that she was calling the tow company after I told her I was leaving show me the was I am seen there and in my heart it was a out my race. I will never return there and find a post that is more respectful. I will be sending this post to our national headquarters today.

Veterans club with good inexpensive home cooked lunches and cold cheap beer! Weekly drink specials too. However smoking is allowed and the smoke eaters only reduce, not eliminate the smell. Nice little park in the back too.

My husband belongs, been going there for years. Went there today to renew memberships. Bartender we didn't know ignored us. Left the bar, went out back, came back wandered around. We left. That really sucked. Maybe because I had a mask on? I'm 75 & immune compromised. Not that I need to justify myself.

My first time here, but a 2nd home for my dad and mom. Today we all came together to celebrate the life of my amazing father. Everyone here was absolutely amazing! Thank you all so much for taking care of my family today and every day.

I have been trying to get someone to answer the phone at the bar to find out who the entertainment will be on Friday night . No one answers . Impossible to find out information!!!!! American legion post 129 always available you could take a page out their book. Please tell your bartenders to start answering the phone so people can get information.THANK YOU.

Great craic & camaraderie. Excellent lunches during the week. Friday nite steaks & salmon are legendary. Always something going on.
