Beautiful views and a challenging golf course. Wide fairways and fast greens. The staff was very helpful and the practice facilities were outstanding. A private club so, you will need a sponsor.

Unequivocly one of the best golf experiences of my life! From the time you pull into the gate you realize this community is special. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel like I was not only welcome, but you would have assumed I was a member. The staff, members, ect were so hospitable! The clubhouse was as nice as any I have ever been in and the golf course was beyond expectation. the scenic beauty, tranquil setting with lake Hartwell and the mountains as a backdrop we're stunning. I had one of the best rounds of my life not only from a scoring standpoint but from an experience standpoint really second to none and I've played some terrific golf courses in my life both private and public this rates with any of them. Kudos to the ownership on running a phenomenal club with terrific employees and great members! I could only hope that I would have the opportunity to not only come back and play again, but perhaps to join one day. Thank you Currahee for all your hospitality! I applaud you.

Awesome golf course that is always in great shape. We have a guys trip here every year around Labor Day and the Course never fails to deliver! Try playing 17 from the back tee! What a golf hole!

I played this track with a group of friends. They were accommodating and easy to work with. This mountain course was in great shape and not crowded at all.
I felt the price was way too high for a weekday.

I've played at many courses in Georgia, but personally, I'd choose this one as my #1 favorite. In particular, the staff is very friendly, the service is excellent, and the course conditions are superb, all of which were enough to capture the hearts of the eight players who joined me.

I also dined at the restaurant twice, for both lunch and dinner, and the food was excellent, as was the service.

Next time, we'd like to stay and play for a couple of nights.

Used to be a really nice place to go to. some of the original staff are still there and they are lovely, super down to earth. The property is gorgeous. However, management has changed and the focus is obviously on the rich and wealthy and being super high-end with dress codes and strict rules and regulations and tons of development that have changed the property not for the best in my opinion. I’m sad to see the nature being bulldozed over and Big houses being crammed in where ever they can be. Toccoa, Georgia is pretty rural and historically not the wealthiest of areas. The new vibe that’s been brought to this place is definitely not the most friendly anymore unless you fit a particular elite class of humans that have a strict hierarchy of being separate from the main stream.. If you’re looking for an uptight super fancy experience then this is the place for you but if you’re wanting something more down to earth and friendly, I don’t think I would come here anymore. The golf courses are nice and I hear some of the most challenging, though to be fair I’m not a golfer. I used to come here to enjoy the nature and super amazing amenities but the nature is being bulldozed over as quick as possible with large houses being crammed into any spare space, it seems. Also, all the extra rules and pretentiousness have made it almost unbearable and certainly not enjoyable as I’m no longer able to enjoy the property in peace constantly being approached and asked where do I live, how long I have lived there, and who I am associated with. It’s all about class and prestige now. I’ve been in Toccoa over 20 years and this is certainly not the vibe I am used to nor do I enjoy. I hope some of the down to earth charm returns to this beautiful property and at least some of the nature is preserved for future generations to enjoy, as well as the wildlife, actually having a place to live.
