So I decided to give my old gear to my brother retool everything for next season. But I live in West Texas so there no where to check things out in person. So much selection and I’m not on the mountain enough to pretend to know everything. So I got online to ask some questions about a new snow board and bindings and was teamed up with Chris McCarty. I’ve never had better customer service. Not only was he super helpful and knowledgeable but gave me multiple suggestions and top picks for everything from my board, bindings, goggles and new threads too. Let me know when things sold out before I could order and gave new suggestions or had limited in stock so I could jump on it. In the end I got a super rad setup (GNU RIDERS Choice Board, Now Drive Bindings, 32 Lashed Boots, Axon M2 Goggles) can’t wait for next season. Again in this day and age this level of personalized customer service is unheard of

I’ve been using curated for the second year of my fly fishing needs. I personally use Stefan as my expert. He has never steered me wrong, he finds me the best prices available at the time, thus saving me time and money. If you don’t know what gear you want or need, the experts at Curated are very knowledgeable and will set you up with the finest equipment for your skill level. They are friendly fast and very customer oriented to your skill Level and your budget. If your not using curated and their experts, your missing out.

Shopping at curated has overall been a 5 star experience. My curator is knowledgeable and helpful, but not a pushy person. He just seems to love snowboarding, keeping up with the tech, and sharing what he knows with others. In my two shopping instances, he was able to get me the best deal on the two boards I purchased. Yes, two! I got a little carried away this year, but the deals were so good that they were hard to pass up. In instances that I decided against a purchase, it was all good. WE just casually moved on to other things independently, until another time when I had questions. I am en experienced snowboarder, but I had been out of the loop for a long time after moving to Hawaii for surfing. Mike helped me get back into the present with snowboarding. The tech and brand options have drastically changed in the years that I was out of the loop. Now I have what I need, and I am set for a longtime to come. Curated could not have lived up any better to its brand name.

Will you buy from Curated if this happened to you?

So I ordered a pair of boots hoping to use them for the upcoming trip, however I received a snowboard instead.

To make things worse, the boots I ordered are now sold out, so I will have to order from another vendor and paying for express shipping so that I can have them for the trip. As for the wrongfully sent snowboard, they wanted me to print a shipping label so that UPS can pick it up. But the problem is I don’t have a printer and the nearest FEDEX office is 2 miles away…

…and for all these inconveniences they offered me $25 store credit that expires after 90 days ?. On top of everything, they won’t issue me the refund for my boots until I sent the snowboard back. There is nothing wrong with this from procedure perspective, but certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had a last minute heli trip to British Columbia and needed a pair of Pescado skis to ski heavy BC pow. Impossible to find these until I found curated. They had the pair and by chatting with someone live were able to workout the best place to ship them to have them mounted to my boot remote and pick up on the way. Very easy experience. 10/10
