Perfect for the average golfer on vacation! Why drop $100 on a round when you can enjoy a well designed low country course for half the price. This course balances natural environment with residential with plenty of challenge. It was February so I didn’t expect perfect conditions. A couple greens had a few bare spots, but other than that it was well maintained for the weekend golfer. Practice green was a mess but the driving range was nice. I walked the course and clocked just under 10 miles in the presence of alligators, deer, and plenty of squirrels! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Awesome layout, has tonnes of potential with better course conditions (greens and tee boxes were very playable). First time playing CP but by the sounds of it the new ownership is turning the course around. For $50 it’s great value for the Hilton Head area. #2 and #9 are great par 3’s. Would recommend and play again. Clubhouse staff were very friendly.

Played in late February so the grass was dormant. I was told that they were under renovation.Paid $60 and it was worth every penny. A really nice Arnold Palmer layout. Could tell it Was spectacular when it opened. They are making improvements. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The rough and sand traps need cleaning up. (But you shouldn’t hit in those anyway) if you are in the area, play it, you won’t be disappointed. My wife was thankful for the clean bathrooms on the course. Lots of water and lots of sand.

Played the course on 3/25/25. Despite the windy & cool condition, our foursome loved the course. The Arnold Palmer design was challenging, scenic, and rewards good shots. The greens were rolling smooth and were undulating. The practice range , putting green (no chipping area), cart paths, and rough areas are not well maintained but didn't bother us much. Overall, well worth the drive from Savannah and definitely play the course again!

Pleasant surprise for our "cheap" course on our HHI trip. This course had tons of character. Definitely can tell in the quality of fairways/boxes however its still the tail end of dormant season. No course is green this time of year without paint. Greens ran well and 16/18 had no blemishes. Quick pace of play, nice guys in the shop, real grass on the range.

Improve upon the practice chipping/putting areas and this was great.

Making improvements under the new owners. Very scenic layout and arguably most scenic back nine around. Tees fairways and 16 of the greens in good conditions. If the price is right you should play it. It’s possible they are on the long road to recovery.

Played this course on June 14th 2023. This course has a great layout and is fun to play. However, it does need some work with the fairways, bunkers, and tee boxes as you can see from the pictures. The greens were in good shape which was a plus. They could be cut but we received some rain a couple days straight. The clubhouse looks good on the inside and so do the eating area. Driving range and chipping area could also use some attention from the staff. Overall not bad course to play. It would be worth it.

We come to HHI every summer and usually play courses on the island. We decided to try out Crescent Pointe for something new. After having issues being able to book online, we decided to call the course and got a tee time for later that day. The course had recently been aerated, and it would have been nice to know this before getting to the course.

They have a new tracking system on the carts and it was miserable playing with that. If you took it anywhere into the fairway, a blaring alarm for Geofence issues would go off. Having to keep driving back to the cart path, then walk back out to hit our ball was quite distracting and seriously messed with our golf game. (See pics and video attached.)

We also got to deal with people just driving onto the course to play. Hitting up at us or driving down the fairway when we were trying to play. Guess people who are staying in the area can come out and play whenever they want.

For the amount of money we paid for an aerated course with a horrible alarm going off almost every hole, it is not worth coming out. And it seems that we were charged even more than usual to play our round, about $10 more than tee times the very next day. Disappointing all around.
