The golf course is good, it’s not great, with a lot of potential. The fairways need a lot of work but it seems to be the standard for most affordable golf courses around San Diego. The greens are in great shape. The back nine is fun to play! Some interesting layouts. The staff is friendly and helpful enough to get by. I will play it again if the opportunity presents itself.

This place is great! Had a flat and was running late, Kevin T. in the pro shop was super friendly and didn’t hesitate to get us golfing again. He even gave me some of his pain relieving patches from his personal golf bag after complaining about golfers elbow. Great beer, good people and affordable! First responder discounts too! Excellent weather this time of year in October as well

Course is in decent shape and a nice value golf course. Overall, the facilities need some TLC. I also understand new carts are arriving soon. Staff is always friendly and they provide great service. Food is very good and also an extremely nice value. Keep an eye out for their specials too.

This was once one of the premier golf courses in San Diego County, now the Ivanhoe course is still intact and the greens are in relatively good condition. The rest of the course is not maintained at the highest level. Nonetheless the course is still very fun and I enjoy playing it.

East County Course! Great course for every golfer. Low prices for the quality. $50 to walk it on the weekend. Your round will have plenty of challenging holes. And a few easy ones. Really fun layout. Long and wide. Not too many slopes or water features. It can get hot in the summer and windy in the fall. THE WOOD baby!

Five stars for the staff, very friendly ? Two stars for course conditions because the Fairways and greens were, I guess, decent, But surrounding areas on many holes were nearly unplayable w/hard packed, patchy grass and OMG hard pan dirt bunkers. I know it's a penalty area but c'mon, you can't run a bunker machine through once in awhile. And walking the grounds from #1 to clubhouse past the old driving range to #10 it's really sad to remember at one time this was in waay waay better condition. Really a shame because Ivanhoe is a great challenging layout.
