Great field, facilities and friends! Come on down to watch, and enjoy on the bleachers or come and ask one of us how to join! The club offers free flight instruction for the first few visits. It is a great hobby and incredibly educational. If you see the big red plane come and say hi!

Incredibly nice AMA field with great members who are accepting of new people. If you are just getting into Radio Control or even Drones as a hobby, sport, STEM at school or even commercial and you live near the Northwest portion of Atlanta then you need to go by and see this facility.

Nice location to check out people flying their small remote planes.
The bathrooms were clean, along with some spiders. I was glad to see paper products in the bathroom.
Definitely enjoyed myself

Swung by this park after visiting the dog park next door (radio-controlled planes were in the air), with 5 granddaughters.
There are 2 airfields; one for planes, one for helicopters.
There is one set of bleachers way off to the left (end of runway) on the fixed wing side, too far to see the goings-on in the "pits".
I didn't see a warning sign (until I was leaving) stating the pits area was for pilots only, so I brought my granddaughters inside mid-field and found chairs for all of them to watch the 3 pilots fly their gas and electric planes, for 25 minutes.
None of the pilots confronted me about the rules -thank you! The girls had an experience they hadn't had before 😀

Moms and Dads;
If you have a boy or girl 14 years or older who has an interest in aviation, this should be their starting point. We offer free training to fly radio-controlled model airplanes or helicopters. Joining the club affords many benefits and much recreation while learning aircraft fundamentals. Go to the training section of our website and schedule an appointment with one of our many instructors and they will be off to a fun and rewarding hobby.

Happy flying!
