This place has a Boone and Crockett buck on the wall and many other mounts as you make your way to the salad bar. The salad bar is stupendous!!! Then your meal comes and it’s phenomenal! Tips are gathered for all staff and you pay on the way out .

Varry large rustically decorated Steak and Seafood restaurant with a large, very well stocked salad bar. Restaurant situated on a beautiful large pond. The restaurant has a very long porch along the back of the dining room overlooking the pond from which you can see schools of very large carp, catfish and very large Turtles. There is fish food available for purchase inside the restaurant so that you can attract the fish for photographs and viewing. My wife's whole catfish and my salmon fillet were very delicious, h the service was fairly quick considering the very large dining room. The restaurant is a great destination to have on a day trip.

We wont be going back. Ordered medium filet steak. It had absolutely NO flavor or taste & was cooked well done. Another customer was commenting about the steak having no taste as well. Staff just walked away.
The salad bar was good & we'll maintained.
We basically paid about $80 for 2 salad bars. Not again!!!

We drove an hour to test the hype. I have to say that salad bar alone was worth the drive. Most of my party had a ribeye. It was thick juicy and cooked perfectly. The taste was spot on. Loved it. My wife had seafood. The fish was just right. Our serverS took care of us wonderfully. Our experience was well worth the drive. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

The food did not have any seasoning on it. I had the Delmonico steak and shrimp. The salad bar was nice. Our waiter, Will was the best, loved his sense of humor!

We drove an hour to this place. We were sat at a large table with another family. The service was the absolute worst I've ever had. I had to stop another server just to get a drink refill for myself and my young son. When my food arrived, my side order was not on my plate. I assumed that the waitress would bring it. She never did. I asked someone else about it, and a manager was sent over. She informed me that they were out of my ordered side item, and asked if I wanted another. If they were out of what i wanted, why didnt my server tell me? Why didnt the server who dropped off the food tell me? Why did i have to get a manager involved to be made aware that they were out? I told her I'd take a baked sweet potato, but I never got it. When my server came back around, my mother in law asked about a Togo order, and the server was unnecessarily rude. We also tried to let her know that my husband's dinner was prepared incorrectly, and she tried to argue with us that he'd ordered it plain, when he'd clearly told her no onions. We waited another half hour for our check (and the remainder of my meal) but it never came. When we decided to leave and go up front, I tried to tell the cashier about the terrible service and the fact that I never got what I ordered. She said she would take off 10% of the ticket, but upon further inspection, I saw that she'd also added a 10% service charge.

Worth a drive! This was an unplanned stop on our route, and a big surprise! We'll be back!!! It was already busy at 530 pm, but they had us seated within 10 mins and our food was on the table within the next 10 mins. Fully loaded and impressive salad bar included with a meal.
What a sweet staff! They were a delight.
We also learned that much of the taxidermy work and the veteran decor was donated to the restaurant.
DON'T LET THE BUSY PARKING LOT DETER YOU! GO ENJOY THE QUICK SERVICE AND DELICIOUS FOOD!
