This veterans’ memorial museum is truly a diamond in the rough.. all the memorabilia are very interesting, attention grabber and you are definitely enticed to read each of the bios on each piece displayed. There’s a lot to see (in such a tight space ) would be nice if an interior designer would donate their time to showcase these exquisite pieces a little better..especially as a tribute/salute to all these veterans that serve and gave their lives for our country. The gentlemen at the door & in the library were very polite, they have lots of props to take pictures, the grounds are well maintained & has a spectacular water-view, nice place to enjoy the sun & breeze. They do need to give the museum a little TLC, & maybe open up a little coffee shop (a bit to eat) to allow people to stay a little longer. Overall … highly recommend even if it’s to show R.E.S.P.E.C.T to our VETERANS.. saw a few kids that were fascinated by a lot of their displays.. not a fan of gift shop but worth the visit it free:DONATION BASE ✨✨✨✨.

Location has an A7 Corsair II walker bulldog tank, cobra, and Huey on display outside the museum. These are in good condition and seem to have recently been painted.

There is not much information on the Cobra and Huey other than their squadron information.

This is a free museum that is absolutely worth the visit. There are so many cool things to look at. We spent 2 hours exploring the packed 3 floors, and I'm sure there is still stuff that we missed. The gentlemen working were all retired military and more than happy to share their knowledge and love of our military branches. We will definitely be back to visit.

It was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by artifacts from America's past honoring Veterans and all who served. The history displayed is phenomenal. You have to experience it for yourself, and you must look through the periscope.

This place has got everything from a number of Wars. I am not sure how they crammed everything in there. It is nicely displayed and laid out. They have a ton of volunteers which were in evidence today. The have two floors of displays with an elevator.

They also have a well stocked library. The day I was there they had some boxes on the floor that we’re giveaways. I took three books. Admission is free but donation’s are accepted. I have been on many war museums such as the Canadian military museum and the Russian military museum in Moscow. Yes these are huge museums and well done but for a small museum these guys have done a great job.

A great place, a wonderful museum, and awesome staff!
This is located behind the Merrit Island Mall. It is at the south end of South Sykes Creek Parkway. It is a very nice location that sports many different pieces. There is a memorial area with 2 helicopters, a tank, a truck, and a plane. There is a park located to the west of the building and south of the memorial area with parking and a walking path over a bridge and around an inlet. The building itself has a walkway along the water. Inside the building is an absolutely wonderful museum. We have been to this building many times but this was the first time that I had visited the museum. What a fantastic place. There are 2+ stories of graphics, artifacts, and memorabilia coving the United States service members’ wartime history. We spent about an hour looking at the various parts of all the floors and areas. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and I could have spent a lot more time looking over all the information displayed there. This is a must-see site for our area. I highly recommend this to any veteran or student of American history. Enjoy.
