I recently moved to Jacksonville Beach and was on the hunt for a great gym to join. Just around the corner from my new place, I found the incredible Black Hive CrossFit gym, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! This gym has everything you need, from top-notch machines to all the equipment you could ask for, plus 24-hour access, which is a huge bonus. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is genuinely nice and helpful. If you're looking for a spot to get in shape, I highly recommend checking out Black Hive. Brilliant gym, friendly and accommodating owners. Used this gym while over here with work. Home gym vibe with everything you could want, the strength training at the back was ideal for me, there’s a CrossFit area at the front and also a cold plunge and sauna.

Called and emailed multiple times to get a tour and sign up. No response for a month after repeated attempts to schedule a tour and get more information on the different types of memberships. Bought a day pass and the place would not recognize the access pass despite downloading both apps as instructed. This place is a scam. They take your money but there is no staff to return your multiple attempts at inquiries or to answer simple questions.

Great gym with all the equipment you could ever need. Top of the line equipment and a ton of fun options. Brent was super helpful, and I was glad to be able to workout at such a good facility on vacation!

Programming is terrible. Has no reasoning behind it. Owner cares only about himself and not about members and it shows.
Update: I love how the owner says I'm on a island on this one when over half his members quit because of how he runs the gym and forced the owner to have to close down multiple locations. Just read the owner's response to my review and gives you an idea on the character of this guy.

I love this athletic establishment! The owners are very friendly and are very responsive to anything you need. The 24/7 access makes it so easy to set up a workout schedule that works for you. They have all the equipment you need to do weightlifting, powerlifting, CrossFit, and more. I describe it as a gym where CrossFit meets anytime fitness. They also have a sauna and an ice bath. I highly recommend you check it out!
