I’ve been coming to this gym for 6 months previously I was a member of Family 4 Fitness in Angels Camp. Let me just tell you that the staff at BT Fit are super accommodating, the staff knows you by name and are always quick to greet you when you walk in. Super clean gym, they are always wiping equipment, doors, and bathrooms down. Floors are constantly mopped. A major plus for me is that it always smells fresh in the gym which is crazy because most gyms always smell musty. Abby is usually at the Front Counter and is always a friendly smile. Alex is the owner and is a wealth of fitness knowledge and is always willing to lend advice, she also looks out for beginners and makes sure they know how to properly use equipment so everyone stays safe. The other members are really cool and are always willing to spot or lend a hand. Don’t listen to the Martin Tunney guy who left a negative review from what I hear he was caught on camera breaking into lockers, sleeping in the gym, and being a nuisance. There has never been a single rat in the gym nor is there evidence of any. Don’t let the negative review stop you from joining the BT Fit family.

Today was my first time at BT. I took a yoga class and Ed was the instructor. It was great. He was very patient and communicated the next steps clearly. I plan to be there regularly.
The rest of the gym is well organized and very clean. Everyone I’ve met at the desk, including the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful.
I love that your membership includes classes. I also can’t wait to get a massage. My daughter is joining too!

I never write negative review but this must be done. you should think 3 times before making this your club . if the keyless entry worked and there were no mice in the facilty then it might be worth the price but there are mice running around and the keyless entry isn't reliable. I put forth due dilligence WITH THE OWNERSHIP to resolve this and was given the proverbial "heisman" .
its my opinion that Alex, the absentee owner, is in this business for the money and the way she treated me supports this assumption.
i signed up on jan 30 for 110 dollars and on feb 1 the price dropped to 60 , when i asked Alex to for a reasonable accomadation she showed her "true colors" and steadfast commitment to profit over principle. all she had to do was say " I can understand how feel , how about if i give a 20% discount for the month of march ? " .

Such a fun place to work out! Cleaned daily, fantastic staff, and has all the equipment you would need plus some! I read a review that mentioned critters but I’ve never seen one, it’s super clean!

I love this gym. It’s a clean and comfortable environment with great classes. I take the yoga class with Ed and he is great. The front desk service is always welcoming and helpful. If you are looking for a gym in the area, I highly recommend Better Together Fitness!

I enjoyed going to the gym for the few months that I did. However I am appalled at the fraudulent policies and dismal customer service they have. Therefore I must give them 0 stars. BEWARE!

I called in October to discontinue my membership and was told I could "freeze" it for up to 6 months without having to pay the membership fee if I wanted to sign up again. That was ALL I was explained to me via telephone. I wish now that I would have demanded paper evidence of this agreement. They have such good reviews and reputation that I thought it wasn't necessary. Apparently it was!

In January I noticed on my bank statement that I was being charged a membership fee again for December and January (2 months after I had "froze" my account). I called because I assumed there was some technical issue. I was told that the account automatically unfreezes after 3 months and starts to charge you again without notification to the client, and that the 110$ I was charged would not be refunded to me.

I was NEVER told this at the time of "freezing" my account, they simple said 6 months. I signed NOTHING, and received no notification about this policy. When the owner called me she said that I froze my account for two months which is not true! I was told I had 6 months and I NEVER agreed a return to my membership after two months! I told her this but she didn't care and refused to try and fix this problem. She said it was a misunderstanding.. it wasnt. I was told one thing, had money stolen from me, then was told something else (A LIE!) to excuse this fraudulent behavior.

I really recommend that this business set up some kind of notification system (even an email after phone calls regarding accounts so that everything is clear and you have a paper trail to cover the business' back) so that you don't get into legal trouble with future clients. You are stealing money without evidence to justify doing that. Someone could easily sue you.

I am appalled that a respectable business with such great reviews could have such a GIANT flaw and poor business practice for its customers! You can't just take money out of someone's account without their permission or some kind of paper trail that justifies charging their account. This is BASIC good business. The rest is fraud! I've had to call my bank to investigate these charges and blacklist this business from my bank account, because I am afraid they will do it again and make up some other excuse and not even TRY to fix it in some way (50% back, 2 free months, a gift card literally ANYTHING)

When the owner called they refused to fix this problem and gaslighted me into believing this was my fault when it wasnt. They have lost a client forever. I will be telling anyone I know in this community of this horrible experience so they can be warned before giving their bank info to yall because clearly you think this kind of swarmy stuff is okay. This is so disappointing. I hope you learn to do better or go out business like you deserve.

BTFC is more than just a gym. Its a place of encouragement. A place to learn how to build not just a healthy body but healthy life for yourself. I love the staff and always feel welcomed. Its the kind of place that fits the mold of a “small town”...in the sense that you’ll always have a friendly face that you recognize when you walk in the door. ?
