Precioso museo . Pequeño pero lleno de contenido, te ubica en los orígenes de Florida y con muestras de casas de inicios del siglo XX y un tren sensacional

My family and I arrived later in the day but still had plenty of time to tour the main building. The staff is super nice and everything is very clean and well maintained. They have a nice array of cool exhibits and interesting things. We especially enjoyed learning about the Black History in the Jacksonville area. We would definitely return again to tour the rest of the museum, especially the chapel.

Small, but very informative museum about the Jacksonville Beach area. My kids enjoyed the exhibitions outside. The steam locomotive was their favorite part. A good place to kill 2 hrs if you are in the area.

Went there on my own on a weekday morning. It was empty, save for the volunteers at the front desk, so it was a pleasant experience walking around and taking in the exhibits for myself. You can tour the other historical buildings with the help of a docent. Very interesting history and the volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be coming back with my friends and family!

This a cute, little local history museum. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making the main exhibit: all the walls have a wonderful beach mural and the descriptions go in-depth (one made me chortle 🤭).

My favorite part was the tour of the historical buildings that got moved to the museum.

The staff are all friendly and knowledge. You can tell they're excited to share the history with you 😊

Had a wonderful experience at this museum. The inside display area isn't massive, but it is well-loved and a nice reflection of the area. The folks working at the museum were absolutely wonderful from the moment my date and I arrived. We both took it in good humor when one of them asked if we were married, and suggested we could use the chapel, on our way over to the outer buildings and train. The man who showed us the outside displays was a delight. He was friendly to us and passionate about what he does. The train engine was the highlight of our visit. I highly recommend others check out this museum!

What a beautiful little surprise as I walked the main road to get to the Goodwill. I didn't even know this was here. Butterflies flying around in the little beautiful garden as a stroll through the outbuildings beautiful 75° day. Pablo and 6th Street between route 90. St Paul's Church It's just what I needed. Really. So much so. I drew a few pieces about it.
I'll probably make a few based on these buildings because I love the location.
I even went back the next day and asked the driver to stop so I could take a few more pictures of the church before I left for NY.
