Seriously, I’ve never had a worse experience at a golf course. If you book after 12 PM, know this: you’ll pay for 18 holes but only get through about 10 in 4 hours. The starter clearly doesn’t care about managing pace or preventing backups. Tee times are every 7 minutes—completely unrealistic. It’s obvious the owner only cares about squeezing every last dollar out of this place.

Our 1 PM tee time was a disaster. Despite showing up 30 minutes early as required, there were no carts available. We got ours at the last second, only to find four groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. The starter couldn’t be bothered to regulate anything, even letting the 1:15 group go ahead of us. If not for the kind group in front of us, it would’ve been even worse.

The clubhouse staff? Rude and miserable. Our cart died on hole 11—five hours into the round. This all screams poor management and ownership.

Don’t waste your time. You’ve been warned.

I don’t understand how this place is so poorly run every time I come here. 1:30 pm tee time and when pulled up to the first hole there is 13 carts lined up to tee off. 6 hours to play 18 holes, actually unplayable.

$90 and literally unplayable. Chunks of fertilizer on every green. Puddles from over watering while we were playing. Whoever is managing this place should be embarrassed and is way overpaid.

Through their Player Development Program, we have experienced an excellent season of golf at this great club. The PDP costs $80/$40 a month for player and spouse (minimum of two months). This provides you with unlimited balls on their excellent (and long!) grass driving range, and option to play afternoon and twilight at $45 and $15/$10! Now the course - well laid out, challenging holes peppered with water hazards. Right length for all golfers. I played from the silver as the forward tees were too short for this woman. Greens were well maintained; some days fast depending whether they were cut and rolled, and predictably slower in late afternoon. Rounds will vary from 3:45 (during rain) to 5:30 hours. Every round capped by beer in the lounge where popcorn is free, first draft beer is $2.50 and atmosphere so welcoming! We hope to come back again next season and play lay the PDP again at Bardmoor. Well worth the money for this beautiful course.

Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club: Where Weeds Go to Retire

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to putt on a neglected front lawn, Bardmoor’s got you covered. The greens weren’t just slow—they were pretending to be greens while actually being mowed-down weeds. It was like they gave up on growing real grass and just let nature take over. And where there weren’t weeds? Bare spots from what I can only assume was rot.

The pace of play was just as painful. No effort to pair up twosomes meant we spent more time waiting than actually playing. It was a five-hour test of patience, and I failed miserably.

As for the rest of the course? The rough was so dry and crunchy it sounded like I was walking on a bowl of cornflakes, and the fairways had more brown patches than a neglected houseplant.

Would I play here again? Only if my other option was a mini-golf course with plastic greens and windmills—because at least those greens roll true.

80+ dollars to take 6 hours to play 18. Place is a joke. The marshall is non existent. You will spend the majority of your round watching the group in front of you score 135. Not to mention the greens are atrocious.

Played this track a few times over Christmas holidays. Nice track in decent shape considering it hasn’t rain in the area for months. Greens were fast and true.

Played early AM, but I can tell it gets a little rammed after mid morning and a 4hr round is a myth and 6 hr round the norm.
