Pretty fun place to hangout. wish they had more food and fun drink options like boba or smoothies. I guess they wouldnt want people to eat drink and play games at the same time but we got hungry and had to leave the place shortly. But games were fun and not so expensive. Fun time!

Step back in time as you enter this wonderful bar arcade in downtown SLO. There are old arcade games that take you back to the 80s and 90s. They have an incredible bar with so many options for beer. When we visited, there were so many kids running around playing, screaming for joy, and having a blast! They even have my favorite arcade game from childhood, Sunset Riders! This is a great place for the family to go and have a party, some fun entertainment, or even a late night bar with games. They also do activities like board game championships. Rob and the team worked extremely hard to make this arcade a reality, and it is so great to see this venue open up in downtown.

They had a lot of classic arcade games which took me down memory lane. You’ll need tokens so take singles if you want to play a long time.

It's a fun experience, the arcade games are starting to suffer as drunk plus video games = stuff breaking. But its a fun place to go, I didn't like the drinks, beer lines weren't clean so beer tastes off.

I was in from out of state visiting family when they recommended we go to their favorite place downtown (BA Start). Atmosphere was chill with a lot of nostalgia from my childhood (fun to share with the kids). Kids had a blast on their own, which meant I could actually catch up over beers with my brother. We'll definitely make this a tradition when we're in town.

This place is cool for sure. Beer , arcade games for kids and adults, great idea. I arrived to find out that they do not accept credit cards which was unfortunate. I think they should find a way to accept them.

Great arcade place. But I do wish they had some more of the older games such as frogger galaga zag zon. They had some pretty good old games there. They had a wide assortment of beer as well as hard liquor. They also had pool tables. Overall it's a nice place the staff is friendly and courteous.
