Beautiful grounds and the server was great. We sat outside and even though it was 100+, the shade from the Redwood and a slight breeze made it very bearable. They only serve Pinots so it was interesting to do a vertical tasting which we had never done before. It was an experience seeing how the wine aged over the various years.

This boutique winery is a hidden gem among many. They are super friendly, and the views are gorgeous!

We pressed the brakes hard as we were driving down Hwy 46 West to discover they are exclusively Pinot Noir. If you are a lover of Pinot Noir, this is a must try! I especially enjoyed the 2018 Pinot Noir that won DOUBLE GOLD at the renowned San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

We stopped at this winery since we were specifically looking for tasting and picking up some Pinot Noirs. And wow we were delighted when we got there! These guys do only Pinot Noir so if you’re looking for some amazing Pinot in Paso don’t miss this spot. The tasting room looked super quaint - gave me cosy cabin feels. And the wines were outstanding! Needless to say we picked up two Monopole 2018 bottles.

I wish they served food but they do give your some cheese and crackers to go with the wine tasting!

Don’t miss this vineyard! Family owned, small runs of Pinot Noir. They’re nearly impossible to find in stores as their runs are so small. Every wine we tired in our $20 tasting was great! We picked two bottles and they waved our tasting fee. Such a great place and we will visit again when we are back in the area. Note that we walked up and accommodated us, but I could see this place getting too busy for that in peak season.

It took 29 days for our simple order of two bottles of wine to be sent back east via 3-day shipping. We flew in to join family for birthday celebrations, expecting the gift to arrive. It didn’t. After repeated inquiries, both through email and in person, we were assured it would be sent. It wasn’t. A series of errors by Windward Wineries caused a delay of 4 weeks! And to add insult to injury, they finally sent our prepaid 3-day shipping wine by Ground taking yet another week to arrive - with only a scant “Sorry” for all the troubles it caused. We’ll never know if the wine is as ROTTEN as their service, but we won’t be returning.
