Food is cooked to perfection. Cooked with dedication and care. No weird burnt stuff. Portion was great too. The high ceiling and the decor and the design were amazing to be in. It is on the pricier side but I strongly believe this is the best restaurant in town you can get in this price bracket.

I’ve been to a few that have good decoration and mood but not so great food. This one has great chiefs/food and building design/decor. I thought the drink was great too!

For this reason, I can recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Top place to eat in South OC. Quality food, drinks and atmosphere. My husband and I have been frequenting Mayfield for almost 2 years and it is one of our favorite spots. The burgers are exceptional (best burger in OC in my humble opinion) and the breakfast grain bowl is our weekend go-to. We bring friends and family in all the time and it never disappoints. Food is made fresh, menu changes seasonally, food quality tastes local/farm-to-table with beautifully paired spices and don't get me started on the incredible wine selection. Atmosphere feels like a little piece of Europe with Mediterranean influences. It can get pretty busy on Friday night and weekends, so I highly recommend ordering the spinach feta and Muhammara dip with fresh baked foccacia while you wait for your entree. Current seasonal obsession Their mussels!

This is my favorite restaurant. I love everything about it from the amazing food, the decor, and the amazing friendly service. These things have been consistent with every visit. And with their market section, I’m able to buy some spices or a bottle of wine to take a little piece of Mayfield home with me. My favorites are the date labneh, muhammara, Turkish eggs, falafel, and of course the cocktails. But I try to get at least one new thing every time I go!

Mayfield is our favorite restaurant in Orange County. George and his team are the best group and the food is phenomenal. Any time we have friends or family in town, Mayfield is a place we’re sure to take them. We love the atmosphere, seasonal menu updates, and we’re obsessed with our wine club!

I just love this place. Menu is very unique. I have never seen options and recipes offered anywhere else. Very international in its flavorings and choices. The rose syrup cappuccino is insanely good. Sitting at the window counter looking out onto the street is my favorite place to chill and enjoy people watching blocks from the San Juan Capistrano train station. Nice patio in the back and very spacious main room.

This place was incredible! We got the cauliflower shawarma and it was seriously so unexpectedly delicious! Highly recommend coming to enjoy a tasty bite and light breezy atmosphere- we’ll definitely be coming back!

When in San Juan Capistrano, Mayfield is a must. Situated between the train station and the mission, there is plenty of parking in the lot or the parking structure next to the theatre. The food included several unique flavors and mixes of flavors to engage you to try more and more. We were a party of 5 and ate family style. We ordered All Five Dips and Focaccia bread to start, Then came my favorite small plate the Fattoush Salad. We also ordered Twice Cooked Sweet Potato, Tamarind and Pineapple Glazed Pork Belly, Lamb Kofta Meatballs, Za'atar Fried Chicken, New York Strip Steak, and Grilled Prawns. Everything was great, but our table agreed that the grilled prawns were just okay. The maitake mushrooms and especially the crispy smashed potatoes that came on the New York Steak plate were so good. Love the atmosphere that's both cozy and open with the high ceilings. The service was fantastic with quick delivery of the food perfectly spaced to keep us excited and ready for the next dish. We are looking forward to coming back again.
