Played course July 19th, 2024. Course was in okay condition. The course was challenging with a great lay out and elevation challenges. Some of the greens had sand on them and some did not but overall the greens rolled pretty fairly. As for the fairways there are a lot of dry spots that make it difficult to make contact on the ball. Tee boxes also need some extra attention. Bunkers also missing a lot of sand. The course would be in a lot better shape if the workers had more help. They seem very under staffed. I could see myself coming back to this course in the future.

We tee’d off at 7:30 am, 7-25-24. Plenty of shade if you look off the beaten path. The greens started out softer than I expected, and by the end of the round, they tightened up. Great variety for tee box locations, fun elevation, and very reachable or 5’s. Drove the green on a few park 4’s from the whites. Met Steve, one of the greens keepers and he was awesome! Hit em straight Steve! The pace of play was slow until we passed a 4 some who openly lets us play through. Didn’t see another person after that. Tons of fun Boulder obstacles, dog legs and elevated par 3s. We had a lot of fun.

The kitchen was closed, but we heard the food is outstanding. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I came here about 2 months ago with a decent size group during a pretty hot day. To keep a long story short, I did not enjoy myself like I had hoped.

I started at the "driving range" to try and warm up. The driving range was in such bad condition that I had a hard time even getting the ball to stay on the tee. It's small, which is fine, except with how small it is I would expect it to be in better condition. Mat's are torn up, the bench was rotting, and the range was very short.

The fairways were relatively nice, greens were well maintained for the most part. I just couldn't really get around the fact that the surrounding area was poorly maintained along most of the holes. To include the paths you drive on.

Overall, it was a very mediocre experience here. I'd love to play here again to hopefully change my mind if it's got some TLC put into it. But with the surrounding courses offering a better experience, I'm not sure if I'll go back

A lot more bad to say than good here. I really wanted to like this course coming in and was mentally prepared for the conditions to be mediocre but it’s just disappointing. If you’re a decent golfer and want to try and play a average round you take even semi serious then don’t come here. If you’re new to golf then I wouldn’t recommend coming here either. It’s in too bad of shape to have any chance at being a normal round and way too narrow with so many blind shots that don’t have the maintenance to accommodate a new golfers game. If you’re landing in the ideal spots every time you can occasionally find decent grass to play off of. Some random greens are in great shape but most are pretty beat up. Traps look like they exist but are just weeds, overgrown grass and hard dirt. So many houses and tee boxes are too close and have no netting or protection making it pretty dangerous.

Everything is overgrown. Some benches have bushes covering them. Cart paths have overgrown shrubs blocking the path. Mixed dirt and cement that isn’t groomed can cause a pretty jarring ride and catch you by surprise.

I played weekday morning so it was very open and fast. Didn’t have the wait times mentioned in other reviews. If it did I wouldn’t have been able to wait it out for this course.

Many people mention the price as a plus which is true but you can pay just a little more at a number of courses close by that will give you a much more enjoyable round, beginner or experienced.

Was hoping this course had improved since we last played awhile back but it’s still really rough and overpriced. A disinterested Starter sent us out for a 9:20am tee time and we sat behind 4 foursomes teeing off 45 minutes late. Pace of play sucked. No Marshals. No Cartgirls. Empty water stops. We were backed up 15 minutes every hole and finally quit on the 12th after a 3-hour half round. Steer clear!

UPDATE: Owner (Mr. Kim) responded and asked me to call and chat out of concern for our satisfaction....Several left messages, NO return call. Par for the Course. : (

Great price and good bang for buck course quality wise. Round pace is standard for San Diego in the summer so no complaints. The BBQ is a must try! Had a great time and staff were friendly.
