Courts were recently resurfaced, and they are great. Only issue is there are sections of the courts with a lot of bird feces, would be nice if the courts were cleaned, and/or if they took precautions to avoid birds congregating in those spots.

Peninsula Tennis Club (PTC) is my home tennis club in San Diego. PTC is in Ocean Beach so the weather is almost always nice and the sunsets are beautiful!

It's a friendly place to play tennis with reasonable rates and a nice comminity of people. The tennis pros are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Their tennis clinics are the best in town if you want to improve your game.

I absolutely love this place! Courts are always in good shape, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and their booking system cannot be easier to use from the phone or laptop. Their prices are super reasonable for being a tennis club, and if you play often the membership pays for itself in no time. There is plenty of parking and the courts are surrounded by a giant grass park full of trees, which makes every visit even nicer. They offer classes and tournaments for all levels, which I haven't had the chance to try but I've heard great things. You can even buy Penn balls there for a decent price which is pretty convenient. Since I moved to OB a few months ago I've been playing there several times a week, and I only have good things to say about this place. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

This is the best tennis club in SD. If you are looking for a great group of people to play tennis with or want to improve your game by going to the clinics, this is the place for you. The pros at this club care, are great teachers and love the game. I love the Peninsula Tennis Club.

Excellent tennis clinic...Thursday evening and Sunday morning. Not only is it a workout, but it focuses on a skill. $25/club members, $35/non-club members, worth every penny.

I started playing tennis at PTC after winning a lesson certificate with Gretchen Magers at our local school auction many years ago. I instantly was drawn to the family feel of PTC. When our 3 kids got older, my husband and I got more involved and all of us started instructions with Ed Collins & Duncan Depew- my kids in clinics and PLHS tennis team. The pros are not just tennis instructors, they understand the big picture that tennis/sport plays in the development of the kids and always put the human first. My husband and I have made great life-long friends at the club, and between the two of us we spend nearly every day on the courts. There is no other place that I would rather be playing tennis!
