Players beware: We played yesterday and found that the current green conditions are extremely bad. We have played here many times over the years, and this is the worst I’ve ever seen it on this course. Almost every green we played on was full of weeds and patches of dirt. The staff did warn us when we arrived that the greens were bad and they had some kind of disease, but I feel it should have also been noted on their website and/or when you book your tee times over the phone. The playing conditions are definitely not worth paying the full price of $55 and should be reduced for players if you still decide to play (just my 2 cents).

The cart girl and staff? Sweet and great customer service along with everyone else that works in the shop. The fairways? Decent. The greens? What greens? Only 2 out of 18 greens were nice and all the rest either looked like Ukraine or looked like Afghanistan. SAND EVERYWHERE. Not an exaggerated expression. Charging 60 bucks to play on sand "greens" is diabolical. Not to mention that the pins for hole 8 and 9 were in the middle of the fairway and about 80 yards short of the actual "greens". Old heads will preach about this place but it's all nostalgia. Eric, the owner let this place go from bad to worse. Save yourself some time and money and play Dinuba, or literally any course in Fresno. Even Hank's Swanks only charges 12 dollars a game and the greens are actually green and don't look like a litter box. Played this place 4 times within the past year hoping it would bounce back but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I'd post photos but if you've seen Aladdin, you've seen these "greens"

Might be the worse greens in the valley. Customer service is fine but the course is in rough shape. Better to play somewhere else for $50. Sad to see.

Terrible experience! Went out for a day of golfing with my Mom and ended up leaving early because we were being harassed by a couple of trashy girls who were on the course with their boyfriends. On the first 9 holes they were shooting at our backs and almost hit my Mom a couple of times. There was a group in front of us and we couldn’t go any faster, so we asked management to talk to them about etiquette. The girls started taunting us on the back 9, driving back and forth staring us down, saying rude remarks and using bad language towards us. My mom felt very uncomfortable, so I called the clubhouse to report it and they sent someone out, offered us a drink and said they couldn’t do anything about it. Unbelievable! We did not take a drink and ended up leaving before finishing our game. We will not be visiting this course again. Any other course would not tolerate this type of behavior and those girls should have been kicked off the course for their harassing behavior and lack of etiquette.

Golfed there today. Normally it’s really great, but the greens on the front 9 were absurd. The extreme summer heat definitely has done its share of damage. Hard dried out areas, crab grass growing in multiple spots on the greens. Straight putts hit random growths of mowed down crab grass and are redirected. Not quite sure what happened because I’ve played here before and it’s wonderful, but it’s rough as of today. Dropping a flop caused balls to bounce like they hit asphalt, bouncing and rolling off the green. No matter how much spin, balls would not stay on the greens. The back 9 was great and the greens were much better. If you’re only playing 9 holes, kindly ask if you can play the back 9. They may or may not let you, but it’s worth a shot to ask.

Grew up playing this course and loved it, but the course has gone to crap for the last couple of years. $60 for 18 holes and pretty much sand traps on the green of every hole. For the last year it’s just been getting worse and worse.

This is a jewel for public golf course. It's always in the shade, along a river, and quite cooler than other courses closer to Fresno.

Course is in great shape. Greens are fast, not Belmont fast, but fast. Fairways were green and easy to hit from.

Food is VERY good, so plan to hit it by the turn.

Greens fees on the weekend are relatively low for Fresno.

Beautiful course and scenery. Greens were bad this time of year with temporary Greens on the 8th and 9th.

1 toilet in the clubhouse is just not enough for those early morning tee times. Other then that you have to drive to the 5th hole. Can we get a decent toilet/bathroom?

Make sure to drop a deuce before coming here.
