Soule Park Golf Course is an absolute gem nestled in the scenic landscape of Ojai, California, and it’s only about 80 minutes from Los Angeles! From start to finish, my experience here was exceptional. The course is incredibly well-maintained, with lush, vibrant green grass that provides the perfect playing surface. You can tell the staff takes immense pride in keeping it pristine.

The surroundings are simply stunning—rolling fairways lined with mature trees, picturesque rivers winding through the course, and charming bridges that add to the course’s natural beauty. The serene landscape is full of wildlife; I saw plenty of ducks, rabbits, and birds, which added to the peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. It’s easy to get lost in the tranquility of this place.

The course itself was an excellent value—just $30 to play and $12 for a golf cart, which is a fantastic deal considering the quality of the course and the breathtaking views. Playing as the sun began to set was a highlight; the golden hues over the mountains and rivers made for an unforgettable backdrop and the perfect end to the day.

If you’re in Ojai, Los Angeles, or anywhere nearby, Soule Park is a must-visit for any golf enthusiast or anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful day in nature. Can’t wait to return!

Probably one of the nicest municipal courses you can play in Southern California. Awesome track, good value at $49 for greens fees. It can get really hot in the summer with not a lot of shade and still the course was in good shape. Because it’s so popular rounds can get a bit long I hear but we finished in 5 hours on a summer Sunday which is respectable in my opinion. Overall a great day and would recommend.

What a gem. Beautiful. Uncrowded. I don’t know much about the course technically but it sure looks like a lovely place for a round. So nice for a public course. And Zaidee’s is fantastic!!

I came from NH to play here. The course was in very good condition. It's quite flat and easy to walk. The scenery is magnificent. The fees were far below what I pay in NH. You're going to love this course. If your 5-wood is your go-to club, play this amazing course. I guarantee you I'll be back.

This place is incredible!!! When I first arrived and viewed the golf course from the outside patio at Zaidees, I was enthralled with the way all my senses were stimulated. The course is beyond beautiful with the greens and vegetation as well as beautiful unique trees. Hummingbirds were nesting in the trees and dropping down to the flower bushes to sip nectar. The incredible scent from the vegetation was like a fancy spa aroma. Unfortunately my nose got accustomed to it and I was unable to enjoy on subsequent visits unless I got up close to the plants. The food was 1st class and service beyond expectations. My salmon meal was more than I could finish and cooked and seasoned to flaky perfection. I would highly recommend the course and the restaurant to anyone looking to spend time in Ojai!

This is the first time visiting this place, living here for almost 20 years...lol...My very good friend took me for my Birthday.. it was wonderful to spend time.But, everything was ok!!Got a yummy drink, yes ur girl is a fruity drink kinda girl. That was tweeked for me liking. I would recommend this place if u want a quick bite to eat. Hang out and chill..the only down fall is the ride in...horrible roads broken and very bumpy..i had to say that, but it truly doesnt say anything about the restaurant itself. Just alittle side note. Go and try it out. Be the judge for yourself...?enjoy!!
