Stopped by the Valley of the Moon Club for lunch at the Oak Restaurant recently because my wife and I heard they had good sandwiches there. Upon arrival, we could hear golfers practicing at the driving range. The balls being struck and making a fizz as they exploded down range was exciting to observe. The Ted Robinson course is beautiful. Lunch did not disappoint. Our food was great and the people working there were very nice. They have a banquet facility and golf shop, all with large windows to take advantage of the beautiful views.

It's a nice fairly open park style course where fairways are situated between houses with plenty of room with a good amount of trees that can challenge shots. There are a few holes with water, but they don't seem to be too challenging. Looking forward to returning with friends.

Lovely local course. Straightforward layout. Main challenges are length and green side bunkers. Course is pretty flat and open. Greens are medium municipal speed. Not particularly challenging otherwise. Course is well maintained. Staff are friendly. Restaurant is decent. Great value. The Sugarloaf course is also fun and challenging despite being short. Great course to practice on.

I like it because you can get on fairly easy and it's a decent part 72 full course. Practice area on back of range with grass tees and practice green to pitch and chip. They are cutting costs now though. The sand trap have gone feral. Hardly any ball washers. Fairways inconsistently mowed.

I have played here 3 times in the last month. Never again. They do not take care of the course. The fairways are like velcro. Not much difference between the fairway and rough. It is a shame as the course could be really nice. Greens were very slow as well though may be because of recent aeration. Pace of play began to back up by the 5th hole. They have no course Marshall to keep pace moving. There are far better choices throughout the county.

Played for first time today. Nice course well kept but they (the pro shop) claim a 4:15 hr playing time. Of course that has to be enforced. Two groups ahead ours had carts yet were two full holes behind starting the 10th and got worse from there. After 4.5 hrs we were again backed up on the 17th tee. Having a late family lunch which allowed me about 4.5 hours of play I had to leave. Unfortunately they don’t marshal the course to keep up play. I stopped and complained to the offending group and again at the pro shop. Allot at least 5 full hours if you’re gonna play here.

Beautiful course and friendly staff. It was a little chilly when we were there but nothing that a couple beverages couldn't fix. ?
