First time playing here, and I really enjoyed it. The course itself is long but scoreable. If you are accurate with your driver/tee shot, you can play well here. Absolutely loved the scenery on and around the course.
Only con (a big one) was the greens. Awful condition. They really should have made people aware beforehand - don't expect much to any grass right now until the remodel happens from what I was told.
Will definitely give another shot after the remodel to see how it all turns out! Overall, good track with good views and holes!

Excellent location for lunch, meetings, parties, and golf. You can host milestone birthdays and anniversaries and the view is amazing. The food here is exceptional since Troon Golf took over. The 3 street tacos, the Greek salad with hummus, and the burger are my FAVORITE. The staff is amazing and they love their job—- which is important to me when taking clients somewhere. And I love all the remodeling and updates they have been making !

After paying just under $80 in green fees 3 weeks early, I checked out some reviews a few days before hitting the course and was absolutely terrified by the recent reviews. I had my friend contact the golf shop and get more information, where he talked to the manager, Austin. Austin assured us that the reviews were completely “not true”. Austin mentioned that the course had just reopened and there may be some rough spots, but overall the course condition was great. We got to the first Teebox and seem pleasantly surprised, but when we made it to the first green, we noticed 80% of it was green sand.

Now I understand, courses can’t always be in perfect condition, but they were attempting to charge my friend $95 for a walk in tee-time. I have played “worse” courses in the SUMMER for $19 that had better greens.
At $40 winter time fee, I would have understood, & given 4-5 stars. But charging $95 for $30 course conditions is bonkers. Also they charged me for range balls, when I looked at my buddy’s receipt, range balls were free? Not sure why I paid $14 ON TOP OF MY GREEN FEE, if they are included?

Overall, we are VERY disappointed with the course conditions / price.

When I attempted to talk to manager Austin at the end he was gone, I hope they reach out to make this right.

Played this golf course November 4 2024. Very dissatisfied. Course had been closed 6 months for renovations. We had high expectations with Troon. Course conditions were not nearly what we thought they would be. Dead spots in fairways, shaggy long tee boxes and very poor green condition. Lots of dead spots in greens that they have tried to fix with green coloured sand. Greens were slow and bumpy. Pace of play was terrible. Over 5 hours with a 10:36 tee time. Looked like a course Marshall driving around but never seen him talk to anyone. Certainly never came close to our group. This once was a great golf course, 10-12 years ago. We thought it might be back to those conditions but has a long way to go.

It saddens me to write this because I’ve always liked this course, especially the layout. It was never in the best shape so I was excited to see what improvements had been made after the closure. Well, after playing 18 holes yesterday I still have no idea what they are. The course is in worse shape than I’ve ever seen it.

I can honestly say these are the worst greens I’ve ever played. Stunningly bad, arguably unplayable. Also, stop painting the grass. It’s half insulting, like putting lipstick on a pig. I’m sorry to be so harsh but seriously, Troon and the club itself should be ashamed. At the very, very least, there should be some kind of a warning given about the conditions to anyone booking a tee time. I feel ripped off, and I honestly don’t know when I’ll feel comfortable going back, if ever.
