Madeira Beach baseball has been such a HUGE positive change for my son! This league has exceeded my expectations for recreational baseball. The board and coaches seem very organized and know how things should be ran. The team my son is on every one is treated EQUAL. No one is better than the other. Plus the fields are maintained and absolutely beautiful. Also, we are new but there has been no begging for money or volunteers. Most importantly Madeira Beach baseball has brought back the love of the game for my son, and that there is priceless.
If you’re on the fence about Madeira I would say just try it! They really are the best in the area!!!

My children (baseball and softball) played at madiera beach for 2 seasons. Practices were a scattered across multiple fields, making it really hard for me to get both of my kids where they needed to be on time. I thought when we signed up we would be at madiera beach, not at every available field down the coast. On game days, kids have to arrive by 515 which makes it extremely hard for any working parent. But we made it work...because my kids loved their team and coaches.

However, when the drama and ridiculousness between the MBYBS leadership begins to affect your children it became too much for us to stay any longer.

Since we left Ive spoken to several families that still play there and are also disgusted with the league and how it is ran, but unfortunately stay for location convenience. I've been informed that MBYBS blocked the charter for PCYB to expand it's softball program and then moved itself into Seminole (prime example of -about the $ not the player). I've also been informed of several rumors related to the league presidents wrong doings

Your coach may care about your child as a player but the league in general does not. We are so glad we left this organization.
