I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick Furrow to purchase a new Sportsman 232 Open. Nick was honest, knowledgeable and very patient, I mulled this decision for close to a month. Sandy handled the paperwork professionally and timely. Nick did a 2-hour sea trial with my family and on delivery Day Austin spent 2 hours going through every system on the boat. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Palm Bay Marina.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We started storing our 21ft Pontoon boat here close to a year ago. Everytime we had our boat put in the water our seats would be soaking wet. We disregarded, We understand it's florida & it's extremely humid & wet at times even though we were paying for dry storage for a reason. Which ultimately resulted in our seats molding beyond surface mold that can be cleaned off. Then we've had whoever put our boat in the water break the light on our Bimini top. When brought to the employees attention, his method of resolution was to zip tie the light. Again, we disregarded and let it go. 2 weeks ago we had it put into the water & required our battery to be jumped. While doing that we noticed animal footprints & scratches all throughout our upholstery. I brought it up right then & there to the employee assisting in jumping the boat. His response was that they have pesky cats on the premises & that's what the prints looked like to him. Having brought it up to one employee we really didn't think it would require a call to the office. Seeing as someone's property was damaged it was a safe assumption that the employee would bring it up to upper management so they could do something to prevent further damage. Yesterday (2/6) we got on our boat & again, more scratches, pawprints & now feces. Not bird crap, full blown animal turds. At this point I'm fuming because the stitching on one seat is completely missing & there's holes & puncture marks on multiple seats, exposing the cushion underneath, as well as a strong smell of urine. At that point we transported the boat out of the marina to prevent further damage. Talking to office staff this AM, they spent more time trying to defend themselves & evade any accountability than actually trying to resolve the problem. We were told they can't control mother nature & it's not there fault. OK fine. When asked what WE thought was fair, we requested our last months deposit back & to terminate our contract to go our separate ways. After Nick contacted their other store he informed us that they weren't willing to do anything to compensate for the damage. He kept reiterating that we signed a contract and we could fight it if we wanted to but they werent going to do anything for us or return our deposit even though we have no intentions of using the rest of the month because its clear they cannot protect our property. Not even willing to prorate since it was only there 6days for this month. Going over the contract he resent us, I do not see any disclaimer on their part that notifies customers of the potential damage that could be done by the nuisances that inhabit their property(cats that they feed, & raccoons that they've not had trapped/relocated). I can understand them not being responsible for damage from actual "Mother Nature" such as wind, rain or heat. But animals causing damage is completely unacceptable when your paying close to $400 a month. The owner claims that he's never gotten a complaint about animals causing damage but it's hard for me to believe because why would these animals single out our boat. As a business owner myself, if something on my property caused damage to someone that trusted their investment with me, I would not dismiss their complaints nor do nothing for them. Definitely a lack of care or concern for their customers. So not only are we out the $360 for the last month, but to get my upholstery back to the condition it was in when I entrusted them, will cost us $2250. & that was the cheapest quote I've received so far. Awesome business practices.

My son and I rented a tandem kayak today from Palm Bay Marina. Service was great. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The rental was for 3 hours for $48. We paddled through Turkey Creek to the dam. We saw a few manatee and alligators. Turtles were ready for some hotdogs but I forgot to bring them. Nice, peaceful trip through the creek. Will definitely come again.

We rented a couple kayaks and took them out for the afternoon on Turkey Creek. We didn’t see a single turkey but we did see turtles, birds, jumping fish, alligators, and a dolphin. And then more turtles. We were paddling pretty steady on the way back from The Sanctuary and it took 1 hour. It was serene and peaceful.

I had my boat for sale for 5 months with another broker in Stuart, who not only didn't sell my boat, but let it get dirty as all heck having left it under a tree. I was furious when I went and got it. Dirty boats don't sell. It was in showroom condition when I took it to them.
After spending 3 hours cleaning it, I took it to Palm Bay Marina/Boat and Motor Superstores where Nick had it sold in a few days!
Nick and his staff are so professional and knowledgeable. Sandy is a an awesome office manager who really knows her stuff.
This is the ONLY marine place I will do business with in the future. Can't wait to join their boat club next year.

We rented a tandem kayak from PBM. It was a super easy rental process. One page of FYIs, a couple of signatures, and off you go. They pull out a kayak and have the life vests ready for you. There is an overhead bar for safe onboarding.

It's a short run to the end of Turkey Creek and back (3 hrs, with some exploring), but be sure to bring plenty of water. We saw a manatee (illegal to touch), plenty of turtles, a dolphin, and a few good sized gators. A few fish were found, but we didn't try to catch them.

There is a small loading ramp at the end of the Creek. So you can get out and go hiking in the middle of your kayak ride. There are boardwalks and trails that lead right from the ramp.
