This is concerning my golf ⛳ experience at Rancho Cordova Golf Course on June 9th 2024 I have to admit that the fair ways were well kept an the Greens were smooth and fast, very professional as was the pro shop as the pro at the front desk was helpful and answered all my questions aside from selling me a state of the art Driver, at a reasonable price and it worked like a charm, our electric cart went out half way through and we called in and it was replaced in 10 minutes, I was impressed and amazed. They also had a Beach ⛱️ Deli which is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and They sell sandwiches and your favorite drinks to many items to list. They also have a huge driving range. Yes Cordova Golf ⛳ Course has come a long way, from the Pro Shop to the up keep of the course from the last time I played here which was 20 years ago, With that being said I give them 5 ? stars, more if I could, Al

My first time I've ever reviewed a business but here goes. So I lost a taylormade putter cover at the putting greens about a week ago. I called the next day to ask if anybody turned it in. The lady at the desk told me I had to personally come in and look for it in the lost and found. I asked her if she can just look since I live about 30 minutes away and told me no, that I had to come in and look in the lost and found. So today I go in and ask where the lost and found is and she literally walks 5 feet away from where she was sitting down, and looked in the drawer that was behind the front desk! So how was i suppose to look for myself? She easily could have looked for herself while I was on the phone, but would rather have sat down where she was and not helped me. Anyways horrible customer service and completely shocked they made me drive there.

I heard the reviews about this place but still went to play just to see if it was true. Playing here was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I had on a golf course. The course marshal rushed me to hit on the first tee box with someone still in the middle of the fairway. I later realized he was playing behind me which may have contributed to him telling me to go. Later into my round, this lady decided to play in front of me and play extremely slow. I attempted to tell her that I was gonna skip the hole to avoid playing behind her, only for her to almost hit me and not say anything in the process. The worst part about it was the marshal didn't seem to notice or intervene when she skipped to holes again in front of the gentleman in front of me. The course itself was okay, the greens were okay but the fairways were kind patchy and dead. This was my first time and my last time at this place, but I hope they fix the problem of golfers just jumping around on the course.

This course deserves 5 stars for the price. Despite being a budget course, its fairways and greens are still reasonably maintained. We went on a Friday afternoon and literally didn't have anyone behind or in front of us the whole day. The course is straight and short with fewer hazards than most, making it a good place for a quick game. I was concerned that this wouldn't even be worth playing on, but ultimately it was perfect for us, and as much as I could expect from an inexpensive course.

Little back story:
Played a 9-hole as the last players on the course and I lended my brother my rangefinder. He left it on the cart and I came back 20min later and it’s gone. Not claiming it was the employers but they were the only people there. Manager claims there employees don’t steal but I never suggested that, merely told her the facts. It’s a shame that I have not heard from them back and when I check up on it they don’t seem to really care or ask around.
From a logical perspective this place hires at minimum wage so I don’t think they necessarily hire with integrity and honesty in mind. I have come to terms that my use to be favorable local course is not what it’s all made out to be. Sure the rates are the cheapest and they recently redone some of the range, for the price you pay this course is worth it.
However, you have to watch ur stuff here and not leave it laying around and that’s a lesson I learned from a year of coming here.
Again I don’t discourage play or coming for range practice. Just be careful with your clubs and belongings, anyone is capable of theft and or deception regardless who you hire.

I’ve played this course 4 times total and each time I said to myself I would never go back. But I didn’t want to be too close minded so I kept giving it more chances.
This is the worst laid out course I have ever played. Almost every par three is 190+ yards and there are a disproportionate amount of par threes. Playing a 190 yard par three is not fun for amateur golfers.
The course is at least in decent condition.
