During our vacation we had the pleasure of meeting Sean, Nate and the crew at Kind Bikes and Skis in West Vail on Frontage Road. They are not only incredibly knowledgeable, but extremely friendly. We bought my wife a new bike from Sean. I also had a few issues with my bike during our vacation that Sean and the team fixed expeditiously and affordably. If you're in Vail and need a trustworthy, high quality bike shop to rent, buy or get repairs from, this is the spot!

I bought a Vado 4.0 from Kind. This is my 2nd e-bike and it is phenomenal. Taylor assisted me and he was excellent. Super knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me. My wife wants a bike now and we’re definitely going to Kind and will get another Specialized. I’m stoked to have this shop in Edwards.

While there are a lot of good options for bike + ski shops in Eagle County, it’s the customer service and overall experience and expertise that keeps me coming back to Kind. They service our mountain bikes, skis, and help us out with ski rentals for out of towners. (Hint - if you are renting skis and live / are staying in Edwards, do not rent on the mountain. This is absolutely the way to go.) The team always helps me find the perfect birthday or Christmas gift for my husband too. If you are looking for a place you can trust with knowledgeable mountain bike + ski staff, be sure to put Kind on top of your list.

I cannot recommend Kind Bikes and Skis enough. I decided to get into MTB this year and shop for my first bike, and everybody here has been super helpful. From answering all my questions about bikes, accessories, parts, getting me on demos to see what works for me, and helping me purchase my first bike, the staff here has helped me tremendously over the past few months. They were patient and always made sure I felt comfortable asking anything I needed. Thank you to everybody here for helping me get into the sport and I will definitely be coming back. In response to the owner's response: their competitor down the road in Avon did it for free. I have two pairs of skis (alpine and touring) that I like to get tuned every month or two, including a season-end full tune coming up. That's hundreds of dollars in recurring revenue that I'll be pointing towards the shop that did me a solid for a quick adjustment.

I have 29 Scott hardtail I've been riding for the last 4 years. I've been wanting to get a 27.5 full suspension bike. We were in Vail and I went by several bike shops. They said for rent they had medium level bikes available. I wanted something a little higher end so I heard about Kind from another bike rider. It was about a 20 minute drive from Vail in Edwards. It was pretty easy to find and had good parking. They set me up with a Stumpjumper full suspension bike. It was a demo. It was in great shape. They set up the shocks for me and inflated the tires. With the front wheel removed it fit easily in the back of my Tiguan. I took the Gondola up the mountain in Vail. I took a few easy runs down the road just to make sure it was set up well. I then was able to go down the Blues without a problem. It's almost like the bike knew just what to do. The slightly wider tires and the lightness of the bike were quite an asset. Brought the bike back later that day. They checked me out in about 5 minutes and I was on my way. It was only $65. Great experience. Nice looking shop. Reasonable prices.
