My 11-year-old son and I absolutely LOVE the classes at 1MR Boxing! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the upbeat and positive energy of the gym. The coaches are phenomenal! It is very obvious that they are passionate and extremely knowledgeable in their craft. They are always enthusiastic, fun, and incredibly motivating—and they create an environment where everyone, no matter their skill level, feels encouraged and supported.

My son had been asking to try boxing for years, but finding a program for kids in this area was pretty challenging. We feel so lucky to have found this gem! The instructors do an amazing job of engaging the kids, teaching proper technique, and building confidence, all while keeping it fun and age-appropriate. As a parent, it's so rewarding to see my son learning a new skill, staying active, and gaining discipline in such a fun environment.

For me, the classes are equally engaging and a great workout! It’s wonderful to share this experience with my son—something new we can learn together while staying healthy and active. The sense of community here is awesome! Everyone cheers each other on with fist bumps and words of encouragement, and it’s clear the staff genuinely cares about their students.

Finally a great boxing gym in St. Pete!
Love this spot! The trainers and staff are super friendly and helpful! They make you feel comfortable for your first class and you learn a lot about good form rather than just hitting a bag! Super important!
The gym area is super clean and nice, super excited about this spot and can’t wait to keep coming to more classes!

Clean, modern, and highly educational gym which prioritizes getting fit and learning the sport of boxing/kickboxing. I stopped in for a class with previous martial arts experience and I can confidently say that this the most exciting and fun class I have been too. Both instructors, Chris & Georgije, had in-depth knowledge and were highly helpful in aiding beginners and experienced members alike. Overall, St. Petersburg is lucky to have a gym like 1MR and I will definitely be stepping on the mats for one more round!

My room mate and I joined back in may when they first opened. We love going together. I formerly was at ilovekickboxing and have loved these classes more! I love that the coaches are always giving you tips and helping you out. They try to change things up consistently so you're never bored. Absolutely love this place and the coaches!
